It was a cool and cloudy day, we missed the midnight sun. The midnight sun can be seen from 14 May to the 31st of July. The sun reaches its lowest point from 12:14 - 12:24 a.m. during those days.The Globe Monument at North Cape. I was fascinated by the inverted shadow from the sunlight coming in the window. I had to get that picture. No photo manipulation was done on it.
This is Delaney's globe and it lights up from the inside out, pretty cool to see when the lights are out. Makes a good night light.
This is an excellent lamp that is light enough to hang by its cord alone, as shown, so it does not need a chain or need to be connected to reinforced concrete like some of our bigger industrial lamps. The smoked-glass look works well with the Edison bulb (included with lamp)--it allows you to look at the filaments directly. Nonetheless, we always suggest that our customers ask their electrician to install a dimmer switch on the wall so that the light can be adjusted on the Edison bulbs. You will get longer use, the light is atmospheric, and you and your guests can see the fascinating array of filaments inside. We have new designs and shapes of bulbs as well...
