Monochrome study of the front of House for an Art Lover. The Art Nouveau building is in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow, and opened in 1996. It was based on previously unrealised designs by Charles Rennie Macintosh and his wife, Margaret Mcdonald, for an international competition in 1900. (Details of their competition entry are downloadable from here.)
Construction began in 1989, utilizing the foundations of the former Ibroxhill House, which had been demolished in 1913. The project was under the joint auspices of Glasgow City Council and the Glasgow School of Art. There was a delay of four years in the early 1990s, when funds ran out. Professor Andrew MacMillan, then Head of Architecture at the Glasgow School of Art, directed the project, which stayed reasonably faithful to the Macintoshes' designs outside and in the lower floors.

Lion Chambers in Hope Street, Glasgow, in a very sorry looking condition. Designed by James Salmon Jnr., the building was intended to comprise mainly lawyers’ offices, was completed in 1907 and now ‘A’ listed.

The Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum is a museum and art gallery in Glasgow, Scotland. Since its 2003–06 refurbishment, the museum has been the most popular free-to-enter visitor attraction in Scotland,[3][4] and the most visited museum in the United Kingdom outside London.
The gallery is located on Argyle Street, in the West End of the city, on the banks of the River Kelvin (opposite the architecturally similar Kelvin Hall, which was built in matching style in the 1920s, after the previous hall had been destroyed by fire). It is adjacent to Kelvingrove Park and is situated near the main campus of the University of Glasgow on Gilmorehill.
