Tyre was the largest mercantile city of the Phoenicians, now mostly noted for the archeological remains of its Roman city. Tyre is one of the oldest continually inhabited cities in the world. It was added as a whole to UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites in 1984.

In 1965, the government of Kuwait commissioned a Swedish engineering company to develop and implement a plan for a modern water-supply system for Kuwait City. The company built five groups of water towers, 31 in total, designed by its chief architect Sune Lindström, called 'the mushroom towers'. This group of towers was given the name 'Kuwait Towers' which translates to Arabic as Abraj Al-Kuwait, and since its opening in February 1977, has been regarded as a symbol of national identity. In 2014 the group of these water towers including the famous Kuwait towers, that were added later, were submitted to Unesco to be listed on the Unesco world heritage list. At the moment they are still on the tentative list.

Ġgantija is a Neolithic, megalithic temple complex on the Mediterranean island of Gozo (in the village of Xaghra). The Ġgantija temples are the earliest of a series of megalithic temples in Malta. Their makers erected the two Ġgantija temples during the Neolithic Age (c. 3600-2500 BC), which makes these temples among the oldest megalithic monuments in the world, predating even the Giza pyramids in Egypt and England’s Stonehenge.
Together with other similar structures on Malta, these have been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Megalithic Temples of Malta.

There are several Sufi orders in Senegal.
The Xaadir (Qādiriyya) is the oldest and founded in Baghdad by the Sufi mystic Abdul Qādir al-Jilānī in the 12th century, now pan-Islamic, spread to Senegal in the 18th Century.
His portrait is at the far left, with his name in Arabic :

The members of this family probably belong to this Muslim brotherhood.
The most important brotherhoods in Senegal are:
- The Xaadir (Qādiriyya), the oldest, founded in Baghdad by the Sufi mystic Abdul Qādir al-Jilānī in the 12th century, spread to Senegal in the 18th Century.
- The Tijaniyyah, the largest in membership, founded in Fez, Morocco by the Algerian born Cheikh Sīdī 'Aḥmad at-Tijānī.
- The Mourides, the richest and most active, founded by the Islamic leader Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba (1850–1927) of French West Africa, now Senegal.
- The Layene are a smaller Sufi order, centered at Yoff, north of Dakar.
I will try to found out about the other portraits, but I had understood that they were Gilani's son and grandson. ( no, I don't think so)

Emir Assaf Mosque is located in downtown Beirut, Lebanon.
Emir Mansur Assaf inaugurated the mosque in 1597, on the former Serail Square.
During the civil was the building was heavily damaged, but now fully restored.
