Meet Liam, an alert and aware pilot for Talkeetna Air Taxi in Alaska who flew us on a most memorable aerial tour of Denali National Park. Lucky me, I got to sit in the co-pilot's seat :) Photos to follow!

Gila River memorial airpark is an amazing place for photography. The airport was abandoned in the 1980s. There are still several PV-2s and DC-4s on the airport.

The supersonic British/French Concorde. It cruised at Mach 2, 1170 mph, with a maximum altitude of 60,000ft. The first passenger flights were in 1976 and for 27 years it flew between Europe and USA in less than 3 1/2 hours. In contrast to its elegant and timeless outer form, its cramped, analogue flight deck shows its age terribly.

A forgotten Lockheed PV-2 at Gila memorial airpark, just south of Phoenix AZ. You can find several PV2s an DC4s on this abandoned airpark, including the burned down terminal building. It was used to be the base of 60 aircraft back in the 1980s. Nowadays it is just a great place for photography!

Left behind in the 1980s, this Lockheed PV-2 will never find it's way to the air anymore. Sadly enough. What a mighty machine with those huge P&W radial engines.

I used a slower shutter speed to capture these snow geese in flight and their reflections in Bosque del Apache during their morning liftoff.

A bit of an artistic view on this tail of a Diamond DA-42 twinstar. Converted to black and white with blown out highlights. Quite a cool perspective!

The location appears to be LHR, with the flightdeck crew just arriving in a company Ford Escort estate. The stained aft fuselage was a common sight on the early 737s, as a result of the aircraft's reverse thrust system.
