Holding my heading as I head out for the hills in search of a target

No problems just passing through these light clouds but up ahead things are looking a bit tougher

That looks like a pretty solid barrier up ahead

Deciding to head inland to get around the cloud buildup ahead

Deciding to pick up this small river, which is visible on the VFR charts and should lead me to a road that will take me to the airport without having to follow the coast

Looking over the Taygetus mountain chain towards Sparti

Wind favorable for a departure down at the runway end near my hangar and in the direction I needed to travel

Let the speed build on the takeoff roll as the runway was short and I wanted to clear that ridge up ahead

That natural terrain down there in the valley is just pure Wild West

First time using the pushback system and no wonder people hate it. There's a delay to relay your commands and no I meant *your* right!!

Taking my base turn to final much wider so I can make a proper approach this time

Weaving between the clouds at 2,500'

Was passed by this Citation. Saw him coming but still - pretty close!

Key West again, better lighting and more altitude

Coming about over Ponce De Leon Bay on the western shore of Florida

Over the more mainland section of the Everglades. Looks kind of like the Australian Outback

Ocean Reef just north of Key Largo, picking up where I flew over on the last flight but now heading north

Jet liner on approach to Miami Int'l

Down to 500' or just below to skim under the approach corridor to Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood

Passing Palm Beach Int'l and oh my god what is that airliner doing!? Looks like someone is taking a joyride and sending it climbing as vertical as possible. Okay pilot, you do you

Kennedy Space Center and Visitor Center

Final look back at the VAB and Launch Complex 39B

Wait who's flying this thing??

Passing over Interstate 95, which runs the length of the east coast

Cruising past the William P Goodwin Airport and looking out over the Pratt & Whitney jet engine testing facilities

Approaching Big Pine Key, getting set to contact Key West tower to get ready for my approach & landing

Taxiing in to parking at Key West Int'l

Watching a big boi fly over - likely inbound to JFK

Heading east as I pass Round Valley Reservoir. Looks like some snow remains in northern Jersey

Crossing over Haverstraw along the Hudson River

Holding short, ready for departure into a nice stiff breeze

Andrew is tucked in behind as we pass Hebgen Lake

Continuing westward past Upper Red Rock Lake

Following the sinewy Red Rock River

Heading south from the Lima Reservoir

Look forward to visiting and camping out here in person one day. What a spectacular landscape

Following another road. We chose to stay out over the plains to avoid turbulence and also to fly lower and faster in thicker air

Back below the overcast, which has since closed up behind us, looking back at the convergence of the St. Croix and Mississippi

We have finally circled around to the north of the twin cities, avoiding the international airport, and can approach closer for a fly by of Minneapolis

West of Minneapolis we have the town of Blackstone, following I-394 towards our next waypoint
