Perfect calm weather for departure from North Buffalo Suburban

10,500' to stay atop the clouds and looks like things will clear up by the time I reach Great Inagua Island

Starting to leave the clear skies behind as we continue along the shore after clearing the Erie airspace

Back on short final and all looks good

Nice to be back under the sun again as I follow the still-wispy Murchison River - which could lead me straight to the airport but I didn't check Google Maps and instead am just relying on the VFR charts, which don't show it this far east from the shore

Alright, enough ATC chatter, I'm back to staying well out of everyone else's way

Quickly clearing out of the rain, we could see we were surrounded by rain clouds moving through the area

After clearing the mountain and recollecting myself I managed to break through under the clouds and spot the airport. Salvation!

AP on, quickly establishing Vx without going too crazy on the vertical climb speed this time
