Halfway through my crossing of the Coral Sea and suddenly my throttle cuts and my flaps drop to T/O position. I have no idea why - I don't recall bumping anything and both my hardware throttle and flap levers were not moved at all. WTF? I recovered the throttle in a few minutes after I noticed it but I did not see the flaps indicator showing T/O position
What's wrong with this picture? Check the magnetic compass and the compass on my dashboard. Yup, have a bit of gyro drift to correct
Finishing my S-turn onto final for 9V9 Chamberlain Muni as Andrew circles around to approach from the opposite end
Both parked and shut down for a dinner break, looking to continue the flight later in the day near sunset
Turning a bit on course and whoops not used to such warm climate at sea level! Had to throttle back a bit to keep turbine temps within limits
Flight plan is simple. just head straight for Iceland and hope I make it, tho passing over the southern tip of Greenland means I can stop for fuel if needed

Cleared the Nagoya Hills without hitting any rain just misty clouds. The city of Nagoya is in sight through the rain curtains but still not sure if the airport is clear of the weather. ATC has not revoked my landing clearance yet tho
Approach into the wooded grass strip of Örestens Flygfält - unfortunately I forgot to record my landing so was not able to recreate it afterwards
The Miyama Dam is one of many in the mountains to capture meltwater and use it for irrigation and power production
Throttling up for takeoff and whoops, starting on the runway doesn't warm up your engines for you. Oh well they can take a beating for a little while
Looking back one last time at the massive Manicouagan impact structure still stretching across the horizon. OMG why is my landing light so bright!?! ;)
Did *not* want to go around. Rrrggh headache! But my approach was just too sloppy. Andrew came in behind me and landed fine
