I went to the Easter service here accidentally. This is my favorite church in Brooklyn, and it dates from the seventeenth-century.

A Fabric store and sewing machine store that quite clearly has been in Flatbush since the 1960s. Do you think Barbra shopped there?

Yes mom, i went to church but sadly it wasn't exactly just cause i wanted to hear the word. in fact,i was so focused on shooting i don't remember hearing anything specific (the pastor kinda called me out on it during dinner!).

Marcia and Ajana's (ah-jah-ney) uncle, Dr. Lemuel Wynn, was invited to a church here in brooklyn. A few weeks back marcia kindly asked me if i would like to take photos of him preaching. I don't know if this is right but i think he is the oldest member of her family. As i was shooting i thought about how much i wished i could have shot some grandpa doing his deacon thing.
