Two sisters tale

Two Muslim girls

Conjoined ..a sad tale

Beneath the hijab I

Hear their wails ..

On the crest of their

Tears a tragic trail

Now their parents

Are searching for

Two conjoined male

Both are out on interim

Bail..when the flesh was

Willing the heart fails .

Hurdles after hurdles

To scale ...in life we

Are busy searching

The Holy Grail

He is 87 years old and I have been shooting him since 2005 ,,year after year every year.. I would spend most of my time chatting with them at Sola Khamba , Char Yar Masjid.

Peersab Syed Masoom Ali Baba is the head of the Aqsan branch of Madarriya Sufi Order ..connected to the Holy Shrine of Zinda Shah Madar or Qutbul Madar at Makanpur .

I became a Malang with my Belgian friend in 2011 ..and in 2013 I visited Makanpur and documented the 896 Urus of Zinda Shah Madar .

Syed Rafiq Ali Baba and Syed Masoom Ali Baba are my two pillars of guidance and holistic learning ,, they have both been very hospitable whether it was Ajmer or Makanpur .

The Madariyya are members of a Sufi order (tariqa) popular in North India, especially in Uttar Pradesh, the Mewat region, Bihar and Bengal, as well as in Nepal and Bangladesh. Known for its syncretic aspects, lack of emphasis on external religious practice and focus on internal dhikr, it was initiated by the Sufi saint 'Sayed Badiuddin Zinda Shah Madar' (d. 1434 CE), called "Qutb-ul-Madar", and is centered on his shrine (dargah) at Makanpur, Kanpur district, Uttar Pradesh.

Originating from the Tayfuriya order, as his Pir, spiritual teacher was Bayazid Tayfur al-Bistami, Madariya reached its zenith in the late Mughal period between 15th to 17th century, and gave rise to new orders as Madar's disciples spread through the northern plains of India, into Bengal. As with most Sufi orders, its name Madariya has been created by adding a Nisba to the name of its founder Madar, leading to Madariya, sometimes spelled as Madariyya, though it is also referred as Tabaqatiya.[1][2][3][4][5]

Dargah[edit]

The Dargah, or the tomb of Badiuddin Zinda Shah Madar, is located at Makanpur, near Kanpur city, in Uttar Pradesh state, India. It is visited by thousands of visitors every month and especially during the annual Urs celebrations.[6]

The Tariqah[edit]

Most of the biographic details regarding Baduddin Zinda Shah Madar are stories of his miracles. Much of such information has come from his hagiography, Mirat i-Madari, written in 1654 by Abd ur-Rahman Chisti. Since then a number of hagiographic texts have emerged.[7]

This is the story

Of a political chair

It was taken away

From the legal heir

Now thrown into

The garbage .

In politics and war

Everything is fair

A tug of war

But in between

The common man

Ensnared

Kallu sells corriander at the Bandra Bazar and Jesus on the Cross watches over him like his Saviour ...and Jesus feels for this Old man abandoned by his son ..

Kallu is a devotee of a Sufi Shrine at Borivili and goes every Thursday to offer floral tribute he speaks very highly of this Holy Saint and wants me to come with him one day .

After Kallu finishes his day selling corriander bunches at Rs 30 he comes to De Monte Street has his lunch and takes a nap outside a shop that is shut for lunch .

I saw him in the afternoon after my visit to Dr RD Parmar and I asked a guy to take my picture with him Kallu is a hero of some of my street stories.

I have documented Bandra Bazar Road people that lived died faded away .people that are in transit waiting for the flight home ..and Bandra Bazar is one moment in my life that I relive with the pictures I shoot ...I see it differently through the cosmic eye of my camera .

Renie Ravin, Founder, IndiBlogger.in

Belief in an idea is all that it takes for an entrepreneur to succeed. Funding for any project is secondary if he or she is adequately obsessed about seeing the plan in action. And an idea was all the impetus that Renie Ravin needed to launch IndiBlogger.in, currently India’s largest and most active community of bloggers, both online and offline.

Launched on the Indian independence day in 2007, at a time when a plethora of Indian blogs were waiting to be discovered, IndiBlogger offers a service that helps people find and keep tracks of these blogs. What began as a directory has now evolved into a social network with monthly contests, meets in every major city of India, community-driven blog reviews and the only ranking system specific to the Indian blogosphere.

Ravin, the founder and managing director, has remained focused on the vision for IndiBlogger, envisaging it as more of a methodology rather than a plan in view of the ever-changing needs and wants of the community and the industry.

With a passionate response to the constant need to adapt, IndiBlogger allows access to its data, tools and services, thus facilitating assembly and customisation according to individual needs. Ravin has leveraged the power of the community to create a network that is growing at the rate of 700 to 800 bloggers every month. “We are not the pioneers of what we do, the community is,” he says.

Its discussion forum enables Indian bloggers to get technical aid and advice from the more experienced, and to meet like-minded bloggers from around the world. IndiBlogger offers a platform to all verified bloggers who want to organise their own meets.

Ravin chose to be an entrepreneur because of a desire to make independent decisions, never having liked dealing with the consequences of those made by others. “This way, I can explore and execute my ideas with the passion needed for them to succeed,” he says.

Faced with the challenge of getting recognised after the launch, IndiBlogger saw its inception with external funding. Among its initial schemes was offering customised badges to bloggers based on their subjects or passion. This was a success and the rest, as they say, is history.

Six months after launch, a private investor provided the thrust needed for IndiBlogger to rise to the next level, providing the momentum and flexibility that took it to its current status as the popular choice in its arena of activity.

Using a combination of data retrieved from blog feeds and established ranking systems such as Google’s PageRank and Alexa, the IndiRank service on IndiBlogger gives Indian bloggers an idea where they stand in relation to each other.

The IndiVine feature was born out of the Mumbai terror attack and collects blog posts on various subjects and current topics. Bloggers vote for the best posts under each subject, thus showcasing the highest quality content and giving them the recognition they deserve.

IndiBlogger also has a monthly blogging contest, with each new category chosen by members of the community, who also select the winners. The prizes for the ‘IndiBlogger of the month’ awards are sponsored by Microsoft and entries are manually reviewed in accordance with submission guidelines, a process that ensures accountability, quality and value.

With the aforementioned services, IndiBlogger aims to help the Indian blogosphere maximise its potential through collective thought and action. The Indian bloggers community has embraced its efforts, as have brands such as Microsoft, which has provided the recognition and support needed to take it to the next level.

Ravin has been in the industry for over a decade and was featured in the Indian Express in 1999 for a website he created for his college. Similarly, IndiBlogger and its team have been featured in every major national newspaper, several start-up websites as well as news channel NDTV.

“But the most valued recognition is from the Indian bloggers themselves, who have written hundreds of testimonials on the work we do. And I will always cherish this recognition. After all, isn’t that what makes us entrepreneurs?” Ravin says.

The team at IndiBlogger is small, comprised of 10 employees in two centres — the headquarters in Chennai and another office in Bangalore. One more centre in Mumbai has been planned. “Our core team is formed by a bunch of people who studied and grew up together. Our individual strengths have created a perfect combination,” Ravin says.

IndiBlogger has now scheduled its first meet outside India, in New York next month, and it will continue to bring Indian bloggers the recognition they deserve, personally leading the effort to hoist them onto the global stage.

As Ravin and his team lay focus in this direction, YourStory lauds their hard work, patience and refusal to rest on their laurels as they continue to reinvent and refurbish IndiBlogger.

I have been shooting her for many years without her being aware of it I always thought of it to myself...

I were going to town by train I gave her a Rs 5 coin , she took it humbly and gave me a one rupee coin ,and she kissed my hands I was overwhelmed as she began conversing with me in silence making me see the vision of the Holy Shrine of Zinda Shah Madar , I now realized that she too was shooting my pictures without me being aware of it.

I gave the coin to it was too precious and a solemn gift.

L gave her Rs 10 and she told me to tell Lshe will seek happiness soon..I did not tell this to L as Lmight not believe such street mundane hocus pocus or thoughts out of focus.

And here I reiterate ,we only meet people we were destined to meet within the cosmic circle of our Medicine Wheel..

You can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere. You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection.
