Photographed at the Como Park Zoo and Marjorie McNeely Conservatory, St. Paul, Minnesota, December 11, 2022.

Some of the elements from the previous outfit had to be changed before going out to town😉

But only some😏

This was some broken glass I spotted lying on a rock by the roadside. The shininess grabbed my attention.

The weathered old door sits in an ancient wall of a traditional English walled garden at Basildon House in rural Berkshire.

If you look carefully you can see grapes hanging on the vine and beside the door the Fig tree still bears fruit even after the leaves have fallen.

Fig tree and persimmon tree.

I love figs , I love persimmons!

I had only 50mm macro lens on this hike, so the result of photographing the very big tree...

The Witches Falls Section of the Tamborine National Park, Queensland, Australia

At Macquarie Pass in New South Wales, Australia. Note the fig tree at the top of the waterfall with its roots climbing down the rocks on the right hand side of the waterfall.

The big tree will have hundreds of them. Every creature in the area will enjoy them.

I think the raccoons broke some of the limbs last year trying to climb the tree.

So far I have not been able to identify this fig tree native to the Atlantic Forest, Santa Catarina, Brazil. Possibly Ficus organensis.

After getting up at stupid o'clock to look for Yellow Rosellas, I got back to the motel and there it was. I need a longer lens, it's a very large figtree. 😄 Narandera, NSW

Views of Nature seen this weekend, Primrose with guest, Agapanthas, a small pond, and a very large and fungus filled Fig tree.

There's a sunrise and a sunset every single day, and they're absolutely free.

If you want to be reminded of the love of the Lord, just watch the sunrise.

The secret to a good morning is to watch the sunrise with an open heart.

Be the morning in everyone's eyes and make their day turn into a thing of beauty.

A fig tree with fruits ripening. Great colour contrast of red and green. Singapore.

These trees are magnificent, especially the unusual root system. Mostly testing my new camera.

A special thanks to Geoff Gallice for inviting me along to this very special place in a remote corner of Manu NP.

Extensive damage from the frost. The entire tree looks like this. Figs grow from "new cane". I wonder where the new growth will appear. I'll post a "before image" below.

The pommegranate bush looks worse than this.

We have a dwarf (supposedly, but no one told it, and if I would let it, it would grow to the first floor!) fig tree near one of the corners of the house, and each year it gives us more figs than we can eat. This is what they look like when the fruit emerges from the pod and is beginning to take a recognizable shape.

Handheld macro shot, lovely bokeh by the Micro–Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 lens. Can’t wait for the native Z–mount 105 to arrive, as I have pre–ordered it (June 2021).

but enter at your own peril: steep and slippery-sides, over 3-metres deep, submerged branches, and critters aplenty! The fig-tree atop the rock on the right has a garland wrapped around it's trunk to appease the spirits of the land (according to local animistic belief). Some say the pool-spirit's face is cast in the facing moss-covered rock (left of centre)...

Nah, I just made that last bit up, but the rock does appear to have a face with a lopsided mouth.
