Feeding my poorly Buff Tailed Bee it couldn't fly. I found it on my drive. I picked it up and put it on my windowsill in the sun and fed it with sugar and water. It recovered after half an hour and flew away.

Lucky enough to see this bald eagle feeding the remaining baby. The second baby fell out the nest the day prior, so it was at a bird rehab for recovery.

“A human being is part of a whole, called by us the Universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.”

I have to commend the Mother Starling. She must have a lot of stamina. Her babies are extremely aggressive feeders.
A mix of gulls rushing to feed on a school of fish passing by. That was a return after 10 years and it turned out to be an even better spot. It is still not busy by beachcombers and dog walkers. Heaven for the birds. Hope this location will stay like this for a very long time. One of the several reasons why I never give location.

Eat my money - and I will make you dependent.
Eat my money - and I will define who you are.
Eat my money - and you will never be free.
Eat my money - and I will remain the master.

The birds are going mad for these fruity pellets that I get from Wilkinsons, all year round from the robins to the jackdaws, but with the young being fed at this time of year they become much bolder. The woodpeckers are getting very brave at the moment.
This bird table is a few feet from our front room so while having our breakfast we can watch the antics of the birds also feeding.

Suzanne takes you down to her place near the river
You can hear the boats go by
You can spend the night beside her
And you know that she's half crazy
But that's why you want to be there
And she feeds you tea and oranges
That come all the way from China
And just when you mean to tell her
That you have no love to give her
Then she gets you on her wavelength
And she lets the river answer
That you've always been her lover
And you want to travel with her
And you want to travel blind
And you know that she will trust you
For you've touched her perfect body with your mind.
And Jesus was a sailor
When he walked upon the water
And he spent a long time watching
From his lonely wooden tower
And when he knew for certain
Only drowning men could see him
He said "All men will be sailors then
Until the sea shall free them"
But he himself was broken
Long before the sky would open
Forsaken, almost human
He sank beneath your wisdom like a stone
And you want to travel with him
And you want to travel blind
And you think maybe you'll trust him
For he's touched your perfect body with his mind.
Now Suzanne takes your hand
And she leads you to the river
She is wearing rags and feathers
From Salvation Army counters
And the sun pours down like honey
On our lady of the harbour
And she shows you where to look
Among the garbage and the flowers
There are heroes in the seaweed
There are children in the morning
They are leaning out for love
And they will lean that way forever
While Suzanne holds the mirror
And you want to travel with her
And you want to travel blind
And you know that you can trust her
For she's touched your perfect body with her mind.
