September 04, 08: There was barely anyone at the zoo today. Most of the animals were more active than i've seen them in recent weeks.

The World Food Programme helps the Ministry of Education implement a nationwide school feeding programme, that is part of its policy of providing free basic education for all from pre-school to Grade 9. It aims to increase enrolment and attendance of school children, and increase learning capacity by providing a mid-morning meal at school. In 2009 the programme reached 224,000 students. I wonder why? I think i will go dangle my toes in the nice cool water... Surprising how fast they move once they decide to go for it. Even with the cold temps...
