A pair of Plum-headed Parakeets ( Psittacula cyanocephala ) feed their nearly-fledged offspring in the Bandhavgarh National Park. These parakeets are near endemic to India.
I found a feeding Chafer Beetle that was more hungry than afraid.
Tech Specs: Canon 80D (F11, 1/250, ISO 100) + a Canon MP-E 65mm macro lens (over 2x) + a diffused MT-26EX-RT with a Kaiser adjustable flash shoe on the "A" head (the key), E-TTL metering, -1/3 FEC). This is a single, uncropped, frame taken hand held. In post I used Topaz Denoise AI and Clarity in that order. I used an artificial flower to keep the background from being black.
During the weekend, I noticed some fishermen preparing their catch of the day for taking away and the pelicans were enjoying what was being thrown down to them! Absolute feeding chaos!!

I shot this feeding Bumblebee while holding the camera horizontally but framed it for a vertical composition and turned it in post.
Tech Specs: Canon 80D (F11, 1/250, ISO 100) + a Canon MP-E 65mm macro lens (over 2x) + a diffused MT-26EX-RT with a Kaiser adjustable flash shoe on the "A" head (the key), E-TTL metering, -1/3 FEC, second curtain sync). This is a single, uncropped, frame taken hand held. I'm holding on to the Lavender stem with my left hand, and resting the lens on that same hand to keep the scene steady. I injected Agave nectar into the Lavender flower to give the critter a reason to let me get close.

Here is a photo that I took of the wild birds having a feed, in my backyard, In Oberon NSW Australia.
I was so excited to be able to capture these baby barn swallows today. They know when their parent is coming in with food for them and they just wake up and start begging.
All week, a pair of house wrens have been diligently flying back and forth to their nest, feeding the baby wrens.
A quick look at how the Asian Tiger Mosquito feeds.
Excuse the terrible focus, my phones screen was under the sunlight, which made it difficult to see if I was in focus or not.
Notice how the abdomen grows. I only wish I had got my gear out faster to show the difference in size before and after the feed. I recon that the mosquito fed at least 10 times its own weight, pretty incredible!!
Taken with my phone + a DIY lens.

This poor parent needs to start feeding him/herself up again looking at it's obvious loss of weight. I think it is still looking after 4 youngsters.

I was so pleased to find this male green woodpecker feeding the fledgling on the edge of the path...a special moment and series of photographs for me as I really like green woodpeckers but have had so few opportunities to observe them up close.....
That’s all I need, okay buddy? Just a lousy 25 cents. Eh buddy, old pal, old friend. Okay?
It was another dreary day so we went to Colasantis Greenhouses for a greenery fix. They have a small animal area and you can feed the goats and bunnies.
This enterprising fellow stayed right beside the feed dispenser.

Last year I found this bee, completely exhausted. Picked it up and it basically stayed with me for the next hour. I fed the bee some honey. The bee recovered a bit. The last thing I could do. Amazing creatures. And yes it tickles :-)
