This is #21 in a February photo-a-day project that includes a random challenge each day. Today's challenge... "a fave photo of you."
This is my favorite baby picture. I was one year old. It's one of the earliest photos of me because I had a cleft lip. This photo was taken after it was repaired. I had plastic surgery WAY before Michael Jackson, Cher or Joan Rivers.
Oh, the things I do for photos..
Just kidding. This bad boy's been broken for a while. Accidentally dropped it onto a tile floor, and it busted, even with the case on(I suppose I need an otterbox). It still works so I'm not quite ready to buy another one. Pretty frustrating though. It's my second phone, the first one went in the [clean, I should mention] toilet (again, otterbox needed).
I didn't look at the theme today until I'd already dressed and gone to work. Fortunately I'm wearing my fave shoes today.
day 49/366 : drink
I wish I could say this was some super-yummy new drink. Nope, just "Very Berry" Airborne. Actually tastes pretty good. Can't wait for this chest cold to be done!
I am retired. Luckily I was able to retire very early. So this is where I work now. At home, on the sofa, feet up, pc at my side, a bottle of wine next to the sofa, an empty beer glass and snacks on the side table. Its a great job!
day 37/366: dinner
just something I threw together... macaroni noodles + 1 lb. ground beef/1 lb. Italian sausage + a few slices of turkey pepperoni, chopped + 1 can spaghetti sauce.

This is #19 in a February photo-a-day project that includes a random challenge each day. Today's challenge... "something you hate to do."
I hate to fold laundry. So much so, in fact, that I didn't do it, I just took a photo of it.
This is #29 in a February photo-a-day project that includes a random challenge each day. Today's challenge... "something you're listening to."
James Taylor's classic "JT" album has been a favorite since it's release in 1977. Yep, I remember 1977.
041 - Nothing much going on. 'Just a simple self portrait, following the aftermath of my family's accident last night. We're all doing fine so far. "Hope we're all ok.
Day 20: Handwriting. Not mine. My pooch's report card for grooming and check-up today.
My photo for February 20th.
This is #23 in a February photo-a-day project that includes a random challenge each day. Today's challenge... "your shoes."
I try to go for a walk every day at lunch time. Today the sky rained on my parade.
I've got a closet full of discarded gadgets, most of which aren't all that interesting. However, I wanted to share this one.
It's an old camera that dates from the 1950s, belonged to my dad, and is called a Revere Stereo 33. It has two lenses which captured two independent, stereoscopic images when you snapped the shutter.
The images were processed onto special slides. When you viewed them with the dedicated viewer the scenes appeared in vivid 3D. So cool!
I have several boxes of these slides that my dad took when I was a kid that show me and my family at home and on vacations. The stereo effect worked really well and leave quite an impression when you see the images. It's like traveling back in time.
Escribiendo, y dejando reposar.
I am very grateful for my hands, they help care for my family and allow me to create. I am grateful for hands...
It's awkward taking stealth photos of strangers. Here is a photo of two strangers at the gym. iPhone photos are so flat and grainy that I have a struggle posting them without enhancing them in some way.
A gallery showing of Neville Page's incredible creature designs at the Oceanside Museum of Art, July 18 – August 15, 2010. Neville's designs can be seen in films such as Tron Legacy, Avatar, Cloverfield, Star Trek, Piranha 3D, and even Universal Orlando's Men In Black ride, which I was the creative director for.
Here, I face off with one of Neville's ferocious designs for Piranha 3D.

In front of Longs Peak in Colorado. One of the most beautiful hikes we've done.
I love setting up shots on our crazy adventures. Since I normally don't carry a tripod with me, I'm constantly scouting for rocks, fallen trees, or other things to set my camera on.

This is #17 in a February photo-a-day project that includes a random challenge each day. Today's challenge..."time." Björk's "Big Time Sensuality" is one of my all-time favorite songs. I can't believe it's been almost 20 years since it came out.
This is #27 in a February photo-a-day project that includes a random challenge each day. Today's challenge... "something you ate."
The salad that I ate for lunch was not very photogenic, so I decided to turn it into a makeshift ad for Hannaford Supermarkets.
This is #24 in a February photo-a-day project that includes a random challenge each day. Today's challenge... "inside your bathroom cabinet."
I don't have a bathroom cabinet. So, I borrowed an idea from Ingo. Here are my bathroom fixtures instead.
038 - Work has been kicking my ass. I actually didn't get to take this until early morning on the 8th, but oh well. I still count it as the 7th.
This is #28 in a February photo-a-day project that includes a random challenge each day. Today's challenge... "money."
This is a little tin of change that I keep at the office... mostly for coffee. We have Keurig coffee machines and it costs a quarter per K-Cup.
In general I feel like bathroom cabinets are a dangerous place in life. They're not cleaned nearly often enough, and their contents are often a mixture of ointments, salves, pills, and what-nots with varying expiration dates - some long gone by.
Thinking of today's challenge I wanted a picture that looked interesting, but not gross - especially in the way that bathroom cabinets can be gross. To finally get this picture I had to climb onto the sink and shoot from above. For a moment I hesitated to climb up on the sink to stare through a viewfinder, only to decide that it was the only way to really get the shot I wanted.
This is #22 in a February photo-a-day project that includes a random challenge each day. Today's challenge... "where you work."
I work at Legacy Publishing in Westbrook. We have three locations. But, I work in the main office, which is the building that used to be St. Mary's Catholic school, built in the early 1900s. Fortunately, they don't make us wear plaid skirts to work.

My screen saver at work. I have to have a Windoze computer for my company's VOIP phone system. The screen saver on the Windoze computer says "I'm not a Mac. :-("
