One of my favorites around the house. This beautiful tree is so pretty all all spring and summer but especially beautiful in the fall.

An unseasonably warm morning and not a whole lot of activity until this gorgeous Red-bellied Woodpecker showed up.

When the salmon haven't begun their run up the rivers in big numbers yet, one shifts gears and works the shoreline for Flounder.

Sort of a high key, flat light kinda day, but the bird pops!

Highway 2 spans across the northern US from Washington to Michigan. Most drivers would not see the moss growing on the side of the bridge, but it fascinates me.
