Maggie Henry, a Pa. organic farmer, gave Triple Divide "★★★★★". She has been an outspoken critic of Shell Oil ever since they drilled a Marcellus well near her family farm (see night photo) that's located within an abandoned well field. Abandoned wells, often marked by rotting casings like the one Maggie is holding in the picture, can create a pathway of least resistance for fracking fluids or methane to migrate towards the surface. Check out the photos of Maggie's farm during an event by Shadbush Environmental Justice Collective in 2012, where workshops were held on everything from Marcellus drilling to Beehives! The Nightman At Dunkin Donuts: Nick

The racks are full of donuts. How can you resist Donuts like these? Try the crullers, sticks, and sour cream donuts.

Dunkin Donuts color scheme is exciting, and the counter being close to the donut rack, puts the donut literally in your mouth. You can't stop with one. And, don't forget the tip cup. Dunkin Donuts coffee rated as best by Consumer Reports.

Nick is from Mumbai, India. Mumbai was formerly known as Bombay; however, Indians have reverted from the British name to the Indian name.

He returns once a year, and his description of the flights and distance traveled takes me there.

He asked that I take a picture while he was at work, and post the picture on the web. Family in India have looked at the image. He went fack home recently, August 2009, for his yearly visit. Nick's wife and two children will visit again December 2012, for $4,000 transportation.

Did another redeye flight to Toronto.

This was the day of the flash flooding in Toronto. Over a month's worth of rain: 125mm (5 inches for you metrically challenged people) in 2.5 hours.

I met my dad and sister for dinner. After dinner, it took me 3 hours to drive what is usually 20-25 mins to get back to the airport. No traffic lights as half the city was without power, and tons of road closures due to flooding, including parts of the major E-W expressway (Hwy 401). Good times.

I have a very long and convoluted story about this afternoon/evening/night. But I'm just too far behind and tired to type it.

Suffice to say, it was a very annoying evening. I did make it to work, somewhat on time, and even got home to Vancouver (4 hours late at 3am). Even though my flight got cancelled, my crew and I ended up operating another flight to Vancouver where THAT crew was timing out, duty-wise due to a diversion away from Toronto earlier in the day (probably right about the time this photo was taken) while that cloud beat the crap out of the city.

Anyway, here is me, stuck in traffic, driving my dad's truck. That's one mo-facking-nasty-b!tch of a storm cloud back there…

DEATH OF JAMES COOLEY.

______

Another pioneer is gone, a man who has been a good and useful citizen in the community. James Cooley, who had resided in this vicinity for nearly forty years, died at his home at 919 Lincoln street, Neodesha, Thursday, July 9, 1914, at 9:30 a.m., of paralysis, aged 78 years, 3 months, and 2 days.

James Cooley was born reared and married to Miss Margaret Ann Jacobs near White House Station, New Jersey. After his marriage he moved to Illinois where he lived for a time and then came to Kansas, locating in Chase county. In the winter 1874-75 Mr. Cooley, and family moved to Wilson county, settling on a farm just west of Neodesha which he owned at his death. Eight years ago Mr. Cooley decided to retire from active farm life and move to town, buying the property which has since been his home on Lincoln street.

He leaves a wife and the following sons and daughters: Ambrose Cooley, Pendleton, Oregon; Ed. Cooley, McCloud, Okla.; A. R. Cooley, Neodesha; Mrs. Madge Linderman, Kansas City; Miss Lena Cooley, Neodesha; Milton Cooley, Burlington, Kansas. Three children died in infancy and two sons, Frank and Elisha, died after growing to manhood. He leaves a brother in Illinois and one in New Jersey.

James Cooley was a well known citizen, not only of Neodesha but of Wilson county. He had always taken an active part in politics and had been a delegate to many county, state and congressional conventions. He had been a life-long Republican, but in the last campaign followed Roosevelt into the third party. He like many others good Republicans, was a great admirer of Teddy. Mr. Cooley was an honest conscientious man and was honored by all who knew him. He would not intentionally do any man a wrong and his good deeds of the past, are many. As a husband and father the love and respect in which he was always held by his family shows him to have been all that the word implies. He was a veteran of the Civil war, serving in the Third New Jersey cavalry. He was also one of the oldest members of Humphrey Post No. 145, and always took an active and helpful part. The influence and life of James Cooley in this community has always been good and beneficial and in his death the community has sustained the loss of a man who will be greatly missed by those who had known him so long.

Funeral services were held at the home last Friday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock, conducted by Rev. I. B. Pulliam of the Methodist church, members of Humphrey Post attending the funeral in a body. Interment was made in the Neodesha cemetery.

His Military Record From the Memorial Record of G. A. R. 145:

He enlisted on the 28th day of December 1863.

Served in the Army of the Potomac under Sheridan in the Shenandoah Valley in 1st Brigade, 3rd Division under Gen. Custer.

He was in the battles of Cedar Creek, Bridgwater in fack in all the fights in the Valley in 1864. He participated in the siege of Petersburg, at Five Forks, Dinwiddie and Appomattox. He was mustered out at Trenton New Jersey. He was honorably discharged August 1, 1865.

Oh lord so help, this was actually such an awesome day. I'll tell you guys a story :)

K, so we went to watch our senior boys basketball game at St. Kevin's. AND after the game was over, we booked it, and ran like the fucking wind to go catch the bus. Like litterly as we're running, the bus passes us. We freaked the fack out, we were so sketched out. So we smartly we decided to run like 2 miles to the transit place. It was so slippery, we were like falling all over the place!

okokok. I actually like this photo. This isn't part of my 52 weeks.

German actress and singer Katja Riemann (1963) was a major star of the German cinema of the 1990s, who appeared in such international successful films as Der bewegte Mann (1994) and Comedian Harmonists (1997). Riemann also often worked with the directors Katja von Garnier and Margaretha von Trotta.

Katja Hannchen Leni Riemann was born in1963 in Weyhe-Kirchweyhe, Germany. She is the daughter of two teachers and she has a sister, Susanne, and a brother, Jochen. Riemann grew up in Weyhe, near Bremen. After high school she went to study at the School of Theater and Music in Hanover from 1984 to 1986 and the Otto Falckenberg Drama School in Munich from 1986 to 1987. She attended the Westphalian Landestheater in Castrop-Rauxel and came to the ensemble of the Münchner Kammerspiele before the end of her training. She made her screen debut in the TV mini-series Sommer in Lesmona/Summer in Lesmona (Peter Beauvais, 1985-1986). For her role she won two awards. After this success, several TV roles followed, including the title role in the series Regina auf den Stufen (Bernd Fischerauer, 1992) with Mark Kuhn and Serge Avedikian. She had her breakthrough in the cinema with Abgeschminkt!/Making Up! (Katja von Garnier, 1993) opposite Max Tidof. The film is a satire about women of the 1990s in search of the men of their dreams. The following year, she appeared as the girlfriend of Til Schweiger in the hilarious romantic comedy Der bewegte Mann/ Maybe, maybe not (Sönke Wortmann, 1994), also with Joachim Król. The comedy was based on the gay comics by Ralf König. At the time of its release, this was the biggest grossing homegrown film at the German box office. Other comedies followed like Nur über meine Leiche/Over My Dead Body (Rainer Matsutani, 1995). Riemann reunited with director Katja von Garnier for the road movie Bandits (Katja von Garnier, 1997) with Jutta Hoffmann. The story is about members of a female rock band who escape from prison. Riemann even learned to play the drums for her role. Both the film and soundtrack album were commercially successful in Germany, and Riemann won the Deutscher Filmpreis (German Film Award) for her role. With director Rainer Kaufmann, she made the films Stadtgespräch/Talk of the Town (Rainer Kaufmann, 1995) with Martina Gedeck and Kai Wiesinger, and the comedy Die Apothekerin/The Pharmacist (Rainer Haufmann, 1997) with Jürgen Vogel and August Zirner. An international success was Comedian Harmonists (Joseph Vilsmaier, 1997) about the legendary close harmony sextet, played by a.o. Ben Becker, Kai Wiesinger and Max Tidof.

Beside her acting career, Katja Riemann started singing and released her first album Nachtblende in 2000. In 2003, the English-language jazz album Favourites followed with the Katja Riemann octet. In the cinema she appeared in the pan-European production Novel (Fabio Carpi, 2001) starring Hector Alterio. She starred with Maria Schrader in the film Rosenstraße (Margarethe von Trotta, 2003) about the Rosenstrasse protest where women waited for seven days and nights outside of a Nazi jail for their Jewish husbands. The protests took place in Berlin during the winter of 1943. In Italy, the film won a David at the David di Donatello Awards. With Von Trotta, she also worked on the psychodrama Ich bin die Andere/I Am the Other Woman (Margarethe von Trotta, 2006) with Armin Mueller-Stahl and Karin Dor. She played with Moritz Bleibtreu in the drama Agnes und seine Brüder/Agnes & His Brothers (Oskar Roehler, 2004). With Von Garnier, she made an international production Blood and Chocolate (Katja von Garnier, 2007) with Hugh Dancy and Olivier Mratinez, but it was a flop. More interesting was the Swiss-German rural drama Der Verdingbub/The Foster Boy (Markus Imboden, 2011). Filmportal.de: “she gives a stunning performance as a cold-hearted farmer, who holds an orphan boy like a slave on her yard.” A huge box office success was the comedy Fack ju Göhte/Suck Me Shakespeer (Bora Dagtekin, 2013) starring Elyas M'Barek, Riemann played a strict school principal and received for her performance a Best Supporting Actress Nomination at the 2014 German Film Award.

The hunny asked for the most random assortment of "fack" (fake) things on her Santa list this year... either she truly believes or she is playing a brilliant and elaborate trick on me, because this was a challenge to put together.

I'm putting all of the fack things into one box from Santa. Fack!

Lego Fanweekend Skaerbaek Denmark 2013

This is a WIP of my 16x16 Monster Truck (based on the 80's toy Mad Masher) Right now I didn't have the time to finish all te segments, so this is still a 12x12 chassis.

The front and back axle are steered by a PF M-motor, the other axles are connected to the next segment. When it moves to the side, the wheels will steer in that direction.

Still need to find the right steering angle for the wheels, because now it can only drive in big circles.

It will be fitted with a Truckcar and 2 fack V8 engines. Like the toy it will have a spoiler, although it drives slow.

I Hope to finish this for Lego World Utrecht, The Netherlands.

Not an AV model, but a Gravure idol who hit it off after doing a TV comercial for loan company.

Hawt! .... ok back to work
