trying to make a knitted version of the woven fabric in the upper right hand corner. (the woven fabric is from the Fellowship cloaks in the Lord of the Rings movies.)

the knitted pattern shows up when viewed at an angle and almost disappears when viewed head-on. I like this a lot! thinking about making a small blanket/large wrap with the pattern.

Couple of experiments in low light condition. Use a Sony Cybershot DSC S 650 (point & shoot) camera. The only light source was a rechargable LED light from overhead. ISO was set to 1000. A piece of blue cloth was used as background. Color mode was set to sepia. Later edited in Photoshop.

I've been experimenting with image transfering onto felt and silkscreen fabric. I used wintergreen oil on the silkscreen fabric and transfer marker on the felt. Then I sewed the pieces together on my sewing machine.

Oil on Canvas, Shanghai, 2019 (50cm x 70cm).

With this painting I wanted to experiment with form and colour. The shapes and layers present an overlapping view which naturally works well with the eye.
