Der „Equal Pay Day“, der Tag der Entgeltgleichheit zwischen Männern und Frauen, fand am 21.März 2013 zum sechsten Mal in Deutschland statt. Er wurde vom Verband der „Business and Professional Woman Germany“ initiiert, um auf Entgeltunterschiede zwischen Frauen und Männern und deren Ursachen aufmerksam zu machen. Nach aktuellen Zahlen des Statistischen Bundesamts verdienen Frauen noch immer 22% weniger als Männer.

A morning karting at Larbert. Didn't quite manage it on to the podium, except for a record shot of the event. Left the racing to the young bucks. I was more interested in getting round the circuit without crashing [s]too much[/s]. Really enjoyable time and great fun was had by all.

The result, a composite of the two images. It's come to this, I've started taking challenging shots, just so I can have a bit of fun in Photoshop. It's not perfect, if you look carefully, you can see a few joins, but it's a good draft version. I might post a better one when I've got a bit more time to work on it. It's 40145 at Birmingham International, by the way. Heading for a Rendezvous with D1015, and an Outrageous weekend in the West Country.
3,000 people marched through Melbourne today, in a typically young and high-spirited marriage equality demonstration.
