The five different latext pieces had to be fit together before they could be applied, so here I am sitting for another work session.
somehow hairs started to grow on my prints! they make a sort of a 3D effect... but better than those of MS Word :D
Used Adobe Photoshop 5.0. Took me a while to figure it out. I wanted to try something new but in a future reference I'm not sure if I'll just do it on a whim again. Most likely for a awesome photo. Anyways the tutorial was off of this site: psd.tutsplus.com/tutorials/text-effects-tutorials/how-to-...
The tutorial was for another photoshop but I worked with what I had. I believe I got the general idea.

I was playing with my flashlight early in the morning, after we woke up at 4:45am. Looking through my glasses, I saw some cool effects with the light refracting through the glass. I was trying to recreate the effect with the camera, but was unsuccessful. I got this instead. I'm not really sure what the white thing on bottom is, but the picture looks cool.
A lovely old building in Woodbridge, but a bit boring photographically, so I've put on a gradient map and a watercolour effect. (It works on the tide rather than a stream or river, as you might imagine)
I had a barbecue at Showa-Kinen-park in Tachikawa.
It is the first time to go there.
Tachikawa is a nice place because it has cleanness and the spark of life.

Atmospheric effects
The weather is fine but overcast, yet still bright enough to cast shadow.
It is warm, t-shirt weather and I sit in a field, just off the footpath contemplating the morning.
A shrill whistle brings me round to my purpose, to enjoy the sight of the railway. 3802 with its usual 5 MK1s appears from Deeside Halt direction and rounds the curve towards Glyndyfrdwy, we’re against the light but that just adds to the effect of the exhaust, and a haze around the engine and carriages that helps them pop against the lush green foliage in the valley.
All gone in a moment but before long the distinctive two tone horn of the 109 heralds its imminent arrival on stage heading for Llangollen with the 10:30 from Corwen.
The first 5 photos were taken with a long lens on my aging Olympus D-SLR. Atmospheric effects dampens the crisp view you’d have had stood next to me enjoying the sights and sounds first hand. Today’s phone cameras do a great job though, as evidenced by the last photo…
I should add a closing thought… whilst sat waiting for the train and meditating a little the image of a blue Class 25 on a short rake of mineral wagons took a gentle seat in my imagination. I could sense its slow progress along the branch, imagining the sound of the Sulzer being lightly worked by the gradient here and the rattling of the wagons…
Nostalgia and atmospheric conditions, that’s what we’ll put chalk it up to!
