On a bitterly cold November Day in 1986 I went to Buxton to chase some of their Re-furbished Class 37s .
In the Peak-Rail ( Buxton ) site next door to the B R Station was this tiny 4 wheeled Ruston Shunter
Is it still about , and where is it now ?
A whiter shade of pale? An overview of the whole impressive Bondi Icebergs complex, home to the Bondi Icebergs, Australia's best-known winter swimming club. When this photo was taken, the pools were empty for maintenance and the major redevelopment of the site that created the building that now houses a very good restaurant, the licenced Bondi Icebergs Club and commercial office space that provides headquarters for Surf LIfe Saving Australia. The pool is a pay-to-swim pool open to all. It is the latest incarnation of the Bondi Baths created as public baths in 1887. (My ref: DS48/April2003)

Christian Pilgrims Around the World
For Christians around the world, there are many methods for becoming a pilgrim. In 1620, separatist pilgrims sailed from Europe to Massachusetts in search of religious freedom from the Church of England. Journeys to religious and historical sites in the Middle East or the “Holy Land” and visits to cathedrals in England and Argentina became pilgrimages for some believers. For others, leading a devoted Christian life was a pilgrimage, as portrayed in John Bunyan’s allegory, the Pilgrim’s Progress.

Yellow is an attention-getting color. Make a photograph that is dominated by yellow today. #ds48
When I went out to shoot I had a completely different picture in mind. Two weeks ago I shot a nice picture of yellow Lichen on a plum tree, which I wanted to repeat today. When I went out the door, I saw the broom in front of the blue snow shovel and thought this would be a nice backup picture. It became the prime selection today, because the Lichen on the tree was wet and didn't look as nice as when I shot it two weeks ago.
