(Almost) every (male) musician's dream: After your gig, a beautiful woman will come onstage and kiss you. Rather than trying to horn in, the sax player, from a respectful distance, will play something appropriate. L-R: Jon, Consuelo, Claude.
In conversation you mention something, just in passing, that you would like or have always wanted to do.....
And then one day, you find yourself having your dream realized...
Out of an act of love and kindness...
And its even better better than you had fantasized it might be...
Now, that's love...
You lucky bastard!!! :) ♥♥♥
The Lucas Valley Rd leads to the ranch. Interestingly enough the road is *not* named after George Lucas. It is the name of the guy who owned the property before George bought it.
I assume 2 limo's with police escort - about 30 min after the parade.. Come'on, who else could it be? Miley Cyrus?

He is my favourite singer. I didn't expect him to come to Toronto any time soon but it is a dream come true that I will be seeing him live tonight! It's going to so damn awesome. The venue is Roy Thomson Hall, which must have great sound because the Toronto Symphony Orchestra performs there.
I think my seats are pretty good. Above the floor at the first row; so it's a clear view from above.
I hope they let me bring my Olympus e-420 in. I think it should be ok, my tiny Oly with the 40-150mm is quite tiny. Although, I think I'll attach the 25mm pancake when I go in, to make it even smaller lol!
I can't wait.
tuesday, my longest day at uni, went surprisingly quick today!!!
could be due to the fact that i woke up late and missed my early 8.30 2-hour lecture only to rock up to uni at 11.30, but it could also be due to the fact that time passes when you're having fun!!! awwww :P
but yeah, missed my morning lecture and the day was cruising from then!
physics class flew past.
medical imaging lecture drained my life. i actually dozed off. haha, so boring.
and then in my one hour break i had a group meeting for my group assignment, but that was alright, cause our mentor's cool as and we finished 20 minutes early so i could eattttt!
i had the best damn red bull and wedges ever. so good! maybe because it was breakfast for the day... but still DELICIOUS!
after that i had another hour of a lecture on nuclear medicine, it was very interesting, although i am biased.
but i didn't fall asleep so that's good!
and after that i found out my last hour lecture for the day WAS CANCELLED wooooo!
so i was done for the day.
i picked up my TLD badge from reception.
THAT'S RIGHT. MY TLD BADGE.
it was the only moment where i actually felt like i was doing my course lol.
a tld badge records how much radiation you're exposed to over a 3 month period. something to do with safety or something like that :P
but yeah, it's personalised and everything nooni! i love it ahha!
thus why today's photo is me and my tld badge.
:) hope u had a great tuesday!
taken on tuesday the 22nd of march 2011 with my nikon d60 at 8.28pm.

119/366 (open): "Willie"
On Friday night, Sara found out she'd won tickets to the Saturday night Somerset Patriots game. Not only that, but also the opportunity to get down on the field and meet Willie Randolph. When I found out, I was like a kid at Christmas.
I've been a Yankees fan my entire life - and a good portion of that was spent watching Willie play a magnificent second base in pinstripes. Willie's professional career began the year I was born and he was the starting 2nd baseman for the Yankees up until I was about 14. The idea of meeting him was exciting, to say the least.
While I was at Communiversity, right before I left, my buddy said "Hey! You should make a shirt for him!"
So I quickly altered the colors on one of my standard designs and customized it a little for Willie, then had two of them printed. I planned on getting one signed, and giving Willie the other.
When we got to the park, they gave us baseballs for him to autograph, so I decided against asking him to sign the shirt, but I did give him his and he said "This is great! I collect t-shirts, so this is really cool man!"
I had handed him the large, but while we were chatting I mentioned I also had an XL - and he said "Yeah man, I was going to ask if you had an XL, I'm so buff these days, I might need the bigger size!"
Seriously...I'm still on cloud 9. And Willie Randolph is one of the genuinely nicest people the game has ever known. I've always heard that from people in baseball, but now my family knows it from first hand experience!
Thanks to my awesome wife and the Somerset Patriots Minor League Baseball Club for making it happen!
