I took a random persons picture at Nowhere Bar.
(See link). Nowhere Bar located in Downtown Athens across from the Georgia Theatre, is an old dive the locals love. Nowhere Bar is a 350 capacity bar.
240 N Lumpkin St. Athens, GA. 120922.
Helluva Fourth of July fireworks show set off Friday night from the parking lot next to the Buccaneer Lounge, one of the finer dive bars in Midtown Memphis. The display drew a crowd of several hundred folks.
Bar None is an awesome Dive Bar. I love the bare light bulb on the top left, right next to the Thurman Munson sign which is great, especially if you're a Yankees fan, which I am. Bar None is a must stop for a drink, if this type of place floats your boat. You'll seethe guy on the left further in to the series. He's having a good time tonight. :)

Jonell's sits kitty corner on a nondescript block in the SF Tenderloin. It's not a clean street, but it's no worse than any of the other local streets. This is not a bar where you come to be seen. It's a place to blend into the shadows and douse your memories with low-grade hooch.
Happy Slider's Sunday everyone.
San Francisco CA
As I peep inside the famous punk rock dive bar.
Unfortunately it's set to close along with Max Fish. Reason: gentrification of the area.
Love the writing on the wall that says "F%ck NYC"....a premonition maybe?

21 Club
98 Turk Street, Tenderloin district, San Francisco,
local dive bar closed in Dec. 2015 to make way for a fast food concept restaurant. In 1996, the Chronicle’s Sam Whiting described the 21 Club as “an interesting place to watch a police stakeout".

Paul was the owner of the Tee Off Bar in the Outer Richmond neighborhood of San Francisco and is a really nice guy.
The Tee Off was a long-time, Outer Richmond District dive bar, located across the street from the municipal golf course at Lincoln Park (a poorly maintained golf course with amazing views of the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco Bay, Marin Headlands and Pacific Ocean). The bar became modestly famous as it was featured on the TV show "Diners Drive-Ins and Dives" and was frequently crowded after that appearance. Prior to that, it was a great, local dive where the people were friendly and we could get drunk in relative peace. This photo was taken while the kitchen was being remodeled.
Unfortunately, the joint closed in late 2017.

The Good Luck Bar has been around for 25 years in Los Feliz and it's one of the great bar/lounges in the area, sadly the developer who bought the building is making a boutique hotel and the bar got evicted, the place has been used as a filming location many times and is a fixture on the corner of Hillhurst and Sunset Blvd. I took a photo of both sides of their great neon sign and married the two in photoshop so you could see both sides of it, read all about the bars final days here: la.eater.com/2019/4/18/18412510/los-feliz-good-luck-bar-c...
