I've been into photography for the past 10 years but I believe there's still so many things that I need to learn and experiment on. Last weekend I thought I'd try something new. That is, shooting smoke for the first time with my 7-year old son. I showed him how to set up the shot and how to form interesting shapes by pumping in some air. The more I look at the shots, the more familiar figures started to form shape.
This is something different than my usual photos of nature but for those who know me since I joined flickr in 2008 is aware that I shoot pretty much anything. From food, water droplets, splash, flowers, people etc etc. After all, photography is an endless journey.
Hope you like this image.

This is a smaller version of my cube build from early 2024. The original cube was 24x24x24 studs all white with colourful mosaics on all sides. This one is 14x14x14 studs with a colourful base and the same white mosaic on each side.
If you've stumbled across this from the T90 group, this is another old shot, a reflection of the Cole bros bldg in Sheffield in the Odeon cinema of the time. Through the miracle of modern tech, several copies of this made on eos1ds mk2 and the pseudo hdr created in CS3

After recent ice storm in Austin. I thought it was interesting looking at objects encased in ice. I suppose it was the wind that caused the patterns on the ice.
