This community consultation - held in Nairobi, Kenya on 29-30 August 2023 in partnership with GNDR - aimed at identifying
practices and responses that have been deployed in communities to address displacement in the context of climate change. It was held in the context of the
Project to Avert, Minimise and Address Displacement (PAMAD) with the generous support of the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad).

The fourth meeting of the Advisory Committee took place from 1-3 March 2023 and served as an opportunity to shape the PDD’s next phase, post-2023 and elaborate input to the strategy review process.
The meeting allowed participants to exchange and share their latest work and ongoing or planned initiatives around the topic of disaster displacement. Above all, it provided the opportunity to plan future collaborative engagement and formulate strategic advice for the PDD’s next steps.

The Pride of the Valley Sculpture Park in Churt, Surrey ... better known simply as The Sculpture Park.
Ten acres, with trails that ramble through shady woodlands, along streams, and around ponds. Sculptures (getting on for 1000!) are displayed along the way, often hidden in trees, or lurking in the shrubbery. It's magic. Carved logs add to the display, and there are plenty of interesting benches and seats where you can rest and enjoy the tranquillity.
Inquisitive child at one of the displaced people's camp I had visited. Behind him was the toilet that about 400 people used. They have been moved to another camp now.
