This construction digger is sitting at the end of 153 Avenue in Edmonton. My guess is that it will be digging a trench to lay down some storm drain plumbing prior to completing the extension of 153 Avenue to 142 Street. This is a 3-shot HDR and then stitched in PhotoMatrix and finally post-processed in Photoshop.
Just outside Bullecourt, along the Rue des Australiens and along the side road to Reincourt–les–Cagnicourt, is the Australian Memorial Park with its statue of the bronze ‘Bullecourt Digger’. He gazes out over the fields of Bullecourt where in April and May 1917 the AIF lost 10,000 soldiers, killed or wounded, in their efforts to break into and hold part of the Hindenburg Line.

Digger Dave and his wife have packed the bar with whatever was laying around Chloride. Dave makes awesome barbecue, and is happy to show you around after you eat. Ask him about the burros he wants to get for the back yard.
This is not a mini digger and these are very large rocks! Our view to the sea seems like it won't be for much longer, they are creating a huge sea defense along Aberaeron in Ceredigion West Wales. I am not sure what they are expecting to happen but I guess they are preparing for future coast erosion in building this mountain of rocks all along the seafront. It seems like a huge operation that has just started to begin so I guess we can look forward to many more years of this! Great! Anyway I think if the sea wants to wash away Aberaeron this aint really gonna stop it for long!! Must be leaving a big hole somewhere else me thinks :~/ and costing sqillions of course!! Whose brainy idea was this then?? ppftt :P *just having a rant*
View from moving train, the service between Three Bridges and Southampton, somewhere between Arundel and Littlehampton. The light was sparkling, the train window a bit grubby.

Apparently this dog is a truffle hunter. Very funny to watch it dig and dig then just plant its snout in the ground.
You will need red/cyan 3D glasses to view these pictures properly
