This place is just named 345 hut. 345 meters above sea level. The hut can be used as a shelter in bad weather. It's open all time and a visit book inside to write your name and date for the visit
Second snowfall, a great ride today! The light was great too! The Varanger peninsula is very beautiful, and a quiet place on earth. Not a busy life at all:-) But I know that someone prefer the big urban city. I have a very good life up here, and are not attracted to big cities. My choice:-) Your call!
At 70 degree north. This is a popular goal for cross country skiers and some fatbikers.... not a Hells Angels place for sure, but they have fat tires too;-)

Finally the trails are mostly dry and the snow is soon gone! I have struggled with huge snow dumps, I want spring to come:)
Then the sun sun showed her sweet face, and I was out in a minute:-) I have never seen a thunderstorm so early in May before..
A few minutes before sunrise recently (14 Oct. 2024) I was up early for the yellows and golds of the pre-dawn/dawn clouds.
