I took this of the Deviled Eggs that I made to bring to a work lunch potluck party.

After church, my wife and I drove to Long Branch Cafe for their buffet.

Deviled eggs with smoked salmon, cornichon, chili sea salt

- Horseradish and dijon

- Pesto, parmesean, and sun-dried tomatoes

- Jalapeño and chives

- Blue cheese and peppered bacon

- Dijon with onion and tarragon

We started early so we could eat a bit of all of the good things.

Wife just had to try dyeing the eggs.

Sometimes the things you cook are almost too beautiful to eat.

Making a decent photo of it is another matter... F. and I being generally famished at that stage of the process makes it impossible to start using complicated lighting tricks... :-)

i love them...i had lunch at a historic home over the weekend with some of my girlriends...these were de-lish.

Yes, there were more, but I didn't get a picture before half of them were devoured!
