You know.. to make it balanced, an' all.. But spiral-sliced brown sugar glazed smoked ham and sweet potato, with cornbread stuffing, turkey gravy, deviled eggs, and cranberry sauce is a pretty good Thanksgiving dinner in my book. Asian slaw wouldn't have hurt anything.
And neither did the pecan pie that came after..
BTW, the sweet potatoes came wrapped in a special plastic wrap that you leave on when you cook it in the microwave. It only takes 6-8 minutes, and the wrap whistles as it cooks. When the whistling stops, you know the potato is done.
I'm most often a one bowl kinda gal . . and yes everything gets mixed together which I'm absolutely not one who gets squeamish have their food touching :)

Tasty watermelon and cantaloupe fruit salad, cherries, small ham sandwiches, deviled eggs, baked beans (Nick's favorite). Susan did a superb job putting it all together.

As a vegan, I am rather disgusted yet fascinated by Deviled Eggs.
Actually, I have a question about this. Is "Deviled Eggs" a southern term for this curious food item? Do these even exist outside the south? I have no idea...
(And Leacey, do you remember this photo?)
I just downloaded a trial version of Aperture and this is my first edit using the software. I think I might use some of my graduation money to buy decent editing software!
Yes, I'm working on the Handsome Devil Egg pattern right now. . . he's a mildly modified version of my DePaul Blue Demon Good Eggs/WRD Warriors. Once I finish the pattern, I'll post it to my blog.
