Love a little bit of sass in my flowers, and this pink gerbera daisy had it in spades with its 'flower in a flower' thing happening!

Wild & beautiful indeed!!

Primatial Cathedral of Bogotá, officially known as the Cathedral Basilica Metropolitan and Primate of the Immaculate Conception. It is located on Plaza de Bolívar in the heart of Bogotá, Colombia.

This cathedral is one of the largest in South America and serves as the seat of the Archbishop of Bogotá. It’s a significant landmark not only for its religious importance but also for its role in Colombian history.

I'm a bit behind in my homework so today is a working day...Be Still 38...Side Light Organic...this one almost broke me...but, in the end, I'm o.k. with it...at least until spring comes and I can get back outdoors...

I have spearmint growing at my back door... perfect for adding to smoothies or salads, for some minty freshness... or do what I what do and pluck and eat when you walk past!

I often let it go to flower because... well, it's a pretty flower!

God Rays of light over the village of Luton in South Devon... leading to an almightly thunder storm just now. Biblical! Seems to have been selected for the Yahoo Editor's pick: Lovely Landscapes www.flickr.com/photos/yahooeditorspicks/galleries/7215763...

Lost in a world of her own

HAVING A GO AT FOOD/DRINKS PHOTOGRAPHY

Minimalist elegance brought to life by sunlight in the shadows.

Having a bit of fun with the light situations

Do seasons change, or are we? When the song fades, how long do we let it linger in the groove of the record before we move the needle…

Roadies - Series

"Roadies! - No, not that kind..."

My love of street photography has transformed my daily drives into a world where anything is possible. All of these photos are taken while driving in a style of street photography that I've created as a method of challenging myself to produce artwork in spite of not giving myself the time to walk around in an urban setting to take photos in a classical sense of the style. This has left me with the task of overcoming many challenges that make this body of work unique. Freezing time and motion while traveling anywhere from 10 to 90 MPH in a vehicle, reliance on manually zone focusing with various cameras and lenses for where I believe the subject of my photos will appear, various depth of different lenses when stopped down to a particular aperture, high ISO for images taken at minimally lit hours around dawn and dusk, high levels of cropping and straightening images to best compose a shot that falls short, the reflections present when shooting through the vehicle's windows, color anomalies when using polarizer filters, and a wealth of other things with metering, available light, and more.

This series is special to me for all these challenges and more.

"Silent Stories in Shadows"

Looking east towards Exmouth in Devon. HDR panorama of 4 (x3) shots plus dark and moody treatment! The wind was blowing hard so the barley moved about making the three shots per frame look a little strange in the foreground, but it didn't seem too bad.

I might post a wider 6 (x3) version in due course. View On Black

It was a cold winter night. The field was damp with effort, lit by the harsh glow of stadium lights and the sharper glare of expectation. Then. He didn’t just run. He launched. A blur of youth, power, and sheer refusal to be caught. The chase behind him blurred. The crowd stood frozen. But he...He flew.

In this frame lives the electricity of ambition. The defiance of being tackled. The poetry of movement when it matters most.

Black & White photo of Melrose Ave. in Los Angeles, California.

A peacefull quiet street in the early evening. Maybe just a little dark and moody.

I have a fascination with Queen Anne's Lace and it's many faces.

Whatever stage the flower is in, from bud to bloom to decay, it presents a stunning natural architectural sculpture to the world...

Added bonus - it's edible!

Hangin' out with the scarecrow blues

On the other side of being used

The whine and the whistle of a passing train

Sounds so heavy when it says your name
