Cucumbers came fast and furious by late August. We were astonished by how many we picked. We ended up giving many away because we couldn't eat them fast enough.
This came from our garden. It's like an English Cucumber. The skin is thin and edible. I've made lots of dishes with them including Cucumber Salad. We also slice them on our green salads. They are really delicious!
This was just a shot taken while setting up for the knife shots, but I kinda like it :)
SB800 diffused through frosted perspex camera left, SB600 underneath the cucumber slices, both on manual (can't remember the ratio but the strobe underneath was just giving a tiny burst of light to make them glow) and CLS triggered.

Coming back through these pictures again, I really like that you can see so much of color of the first part of the near-cave beside Cucumber Falls. I didn't notice that previously. You can see a bit more of the color in the picture below.
