Thai pork egg noodle. Poach pork slices in soup stock, pork wonton, fish tofu, egg noodle top with crispy fry wonton and green onion.
Just (today) had 2 different phone calls for my gaufres croustillantes - crispy waffle recipe ... here it is ...
that is the simpliest gaufre recipe ever ... for a crispy and tender result.
I have 2 other recipes I fix often depending of the texture I want to get ... for instance , separating n then beating the egg whites makes the waffles light & fluffy. next time ....
Ingredients:
40 cl milk
300 G flour
2 eggs
pinch of salt
2 tablespoon baking powder
2 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla infused sugar
Directions:
In a large bowl, beat together egg. Add milk, vanilla, sugar & salt until throughly combined. Add in baking powder and flour, stir to combine. Prepare according to waffle iron directions.

Today's breakfast: some crispy bacon, eggs, sausages and fresh vegetables. Cooking didn't keep me busy enough so I captured some photos while making breakfast. Unfortunately got decent captures only from bacon this time.

Dutch Oven mastery is within reach. Once the burnt shell was removed, this cake was quite delicious.

Seared using extremely high heat with scales on.
Holy cow this was incredible. The crisp scales shattered in my mouth the moment I bit down.

Have you tried catfish before? Come to Thailand and it is a common dish around the country. Have it fried, steamed and broiled. Quite tasty.
My wife and I decided to have Wendy's for supper this evening. I had the combo with a crispy chicken sandwich, chicken nuggets, fries and a frosty.
So yummy, but so bad for your arteries! I hadn't had crispy pata in ages, so I ate it nearly everyday ;p

A friend of mine gave this building the Castle Grayskull name years ago. This is the Cathedral of Christ the King in Portage, Michigan. It used to be the headquarters of the Episcopal Diocese, but they ceased, and now it is owned by the Kalamazoo Valley Family Church.
Check out the satellite view on Google Earth. The grounds are (or at least, were) really intriguing.

Tech: This is an HDR of 8 photos taken with a tripod mounted Canon A590 IS running CHDK. The DNGs were developed in Adobe Camera Raw. The photos were stacked and manually aligned in Dynamic Photo HDR then tone-mapped in Photomatix. Final adjustments were made in PSCS3.
This is a little crispier than I usually do; I was following someone else's recipe to see how it turned out. It fits how I imagined it when I was taking the photos.

I found this old thing lurking in the back of a wardrobe!! It's a poster of the record sleeve of Unsightly and Serene - a 10 inch record by Crispy Ambulance. I saw the band at the ICA in 1980. I can't remember if I got it mail order or from outside the gig. The image is "based on" the engraving by Gustave Dore (1890) "Dante and Virgil transversing Cocytus"
