Which way is up? This pic creates an interesting illusion I think. I originally posted this (with the same title) horizontally on Flickr, and then decided that it was much more interesting vertically. So, my apologies for any confusion this may have created.

This is actually made from a picture of part of the ceiling in the Como Conservatory (now called the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory) in St Paul, Minnesota. The original image was 1/4 of this picture, I duplicated it 3 x and turned the images around to create this new image.

I made this design with Photoshop, using a variety of gradients & filters. To me, it looks like the bottom of a drinking glass, which has left a design on red.

I created this in Photoshop, playing with gradients, textures and colors. I love digital art, it's like being handed a box of markers that never run out & where I can almost instantly undo a mistake, or try another option.
