A very basic spec CR-V with black bumpers! Don't think l spotted one like this before.
Just 23,000 miles on the clock in 2018.

The road to get to this has very deep ruts, I have a Honda CR-V and I made it, but I wasn't sure I would. Had to make sure I would not get in the ruts as the car might bottom out and get stuck.
These towers are now the new lighthouse, a sign of the times, far lower maintenance costs to keep them running. However they do not have the same photographic appeal.
The skeleton tower is now located where the Man of War lighhouse use to be. A lighhouse station was established here in 1912.
This was built in 1976, it is 20 meters (66ft) tall. The focal plane is 28.5 meters (94ft).

My first plate from Panama! What a huge surprise to spot such a plate in Switzerland!
Distance from home: 8955 km.
Location: Werder, Germany - 2234km from home.
This week's highlight is one of two or three Hondas I've spotted in Germany. They all belong to the same dealership which made me belive that the owner('s son) has a summer residence in Werder or nearby.
Plates from Iceland aren't insanely rare to spot in Europe, especially during the warmer months. But given the small size and the efforts you have to go through taking them with you is making them quite special.

The lastest generation of the Honda CR-V is on the market since 2016 (in Europe 2018). This is a Hybrid model is North-American specification. Especially the bumpers are quite different from the ones uses here. The BN license plate is reserved for personnel of international organisations in the Netherlands.

This spot marks the last upload before our trip to Prague. I'll upload the remaining plates spotted on the German Autobahn regularly.
Aside fromt his, this is quite an awesome spot, although this is already the third Icelandic plate I could spot in Werder. This car belongs to the same person driving the other CR-V from Iceland I've spotted in Berlin - and both are existing simultaneously.
While this isn't my first plate then, obviously, it's quite a joy to see them as Iceland isn't too populated and many miles away.

We traded in our gas pig last weekend and got this instead. It's a new Honda CR-V and we love it! We had a fairly new Honda Pilot, which we also loved, but it got horrible gas mileage.
We had to wait for about 2 months to get this one because they couldn't find the color I wanted... the Polished Metal Metallic. Apparently, it can be a hard color to come by, but I was willing to wait to get the color I really wanted.
This gets fantastic gas mileage!! So, we kind of traded a pig for a pony.
With the parks all closed I decided to stay home and give my CRV a workover!
I took out the back doors and gave it a Panel truck look. Chopped the top a bit and stretched the body out. Then added oversized tires, side exhaust and a new engine! Last but not least, you've GOT to have some flames don't ya??
