The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is a Catholic Cathedral located in Camden, Camden County, New Jersey, United States. It is the seat of the Diocese of Camden, and it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003 as the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Built in 1864, it was officially designated as a cathedral in 1937.

Woodlands in Quebec are very messy places. They are filled with underbrush and very dense. It is likely that this area was cleared by the owners off the property to which this road leads. It caught my attention just because it is so neat.
Why? Why do we photograph what we photograph?
Why this shot? Not formally a street photo. Not necessarily compelling. No ethereal essence nor poetic stillness.
A seemingly innocuous everyday scene, but with a hyper-real sense of unease. An unwritten story, then asking the viewer to complete the narrative.
The premise and intent was to actively search out a banal unfolding narrative and stop it with my camera.
Not by accident, but rather an active conceptual process.

The modern city of Ciudad Viejo (Old City) was built on the site of the original Spanish capital for Central America, Santiago de los Caballeros de Guatemala established in 1527. In 1541, the catastrophic collapse on the caldera of the nearby aptly named Volcán de Agua destroyed the city with a wall of water. In 1543, Panchoy (now known as Antigua Guatemala) was founded as the new capital This was the capital for over 200 years until 1773 when it was destroyed for a second time by a catastrophic earthquake. The present capital of Nueva Guatemala de Asinción (now known generally as Guatemala City) was established in 1775.
