It's cold, wet and miserable today. Even the sea gulls have deserted the beach ... except for these two anyway.

A lot of people don't like sea gulls but I am not one of them. To me they are synonymous with sea and sand.
There is nobody this year too.
It is cold, so cold!

Taken earlier on in the year, I caught this image of a Honda Civic coming up Huckeridge hill in Sawston.
You know it's cold when you see the birds tucking their feet up into their body. Poor little things, I don't know how they do it and I wish I could of stayed out there longer today feeding them but when it is minus 16 with a wind chill of minus 23 you can only take so much. Yet these guys are out in it 24 hours a day!! You really have to hand it to them, we like to think we are so great because we invent things like fireplaces and other heating sources, but what would we do if we could not use those heating sources? Shiver to death, that is what would happen to most...
This is the time of year when the sun sets in the mouth of the cove, but clouds covered the sun, so I had to settle for the lighthouse...
