created a layer, filled it with pale green, hit t on the keyboard, typed cognition, then clicked my type layer twice and edited it with a bevel & emboss. then I hit t on the keyboard and typed the definition of cognition, then I got two photos off of google, one of two heads looking like a vase, and a cat looking in the mirror seeing a lion, I made the lion one black & white. I double clicked the vase layer and did a gradient overlay. I saved the file.
Spider monkeys of the genus Ateles are New World monkeys in the subfamily Atelinae, family Atelidae.
Like other atelines, they are found in tropical forests of Central and South America, from southern Mexico to Brazil. The genus contains seven species, all of which are under threat.
Disproportionately long limbs and long prehensile tails make them one of the largest New World monkeys and give rise to their common name. Spider monkeys live in the upper layers of the rainforest, and forage in the high canopy, from 25 to 30 m (82 to 98 ft). They primarily eat fruits, but will also occasionally consume leaves, flowers, and insects. Due to their large size, spider monkeys require large tracts of moist evergreen forests, and prefer undisturbed primary rainforest.
Recent meta-analyses on primate cognition studies indicated spider monkeys are the most intelligent New World monkeys. They can produce a wide range of sounds and will "bark" when threatened; other vocalisations include a whinny similar to a horse and prolonged screams.

1ST PRINCIPLE: GREED HAPPENING IN THE MACROCOSM IS GRAVITY; GRAVITY HAPPENING IN THE MICROCOSM IS GREED
2ND PRINCIPLE: FEAR HAPPENING IN THE MACROCOSMIC LEVEL IS ELECTROMAGNETIC FORCE AND ELECTROMAGNETIC FORCE HAPPENING IN THE MICROCOSMIC LEVEL IS FEAR.
3RD PRINCIPLE: THE THIRD FORCE HUMAN MIND DECODED, IS WEAK NUCLEAR FORCE.
POWERFUL COGNITIONS MANIFESTING IN THE MACROCOSMIC LEVEL IS WEAK NUCLEAR FORCE.
THE WEAK NUCLEAR FORCE MANIFESTING IN THE MICROCOSMIC LEVEL IS POWERFUL COGNITIONS.
4TH PRINCIPLE: STRONG NUCLEAR FORCE - IS EQUIVALENT TO ‘INITIATION’, ‘DEEKSHA’ BY AN INCARNATION, LIVING INCARNATION.
STRONG NUCLEAR FORCE HAPPENING IN THE MICROCOSMIC LEVEL IS DEEKSHA, INITIATION.
5TH PRINCIPLE: FIFTH FORCE IS THE POWER OF CONSCIOUSNESS.
POWER OF CONSCIOUSNESS MEANS, JUST KNOWING THE TRUTH THAT PARAMASHIVA IS THERE NOT BECAUSE YOU BELIEVE IT IS A TRUTH, BUT BECAUSE PARAMASHIVA IS REAL ‘IS’ THE TRUTH. IT IS SIMPLY CONSCIOUS.

I recently took a cognition test
To see if I was seriously demented.
This was never a problem in olden times
Before this test was invented.
People simply would whisper: “He’s losing it.”
Or: “He’s now completely flipped out.”
No lab tests required or EEG’s—
Just “Crazy Man approaching!” they’d shout.
Of course, voices in my head would have arguments:
“I’d bet money I’m as sharp as a tack.”
But I’d better remember why I entered this room,
Because there’s no way I’m again coming back.
More often, I forget other people’s names,
Or where I remember them from—
“How’s your wife?”
“Never married,” would come their reply,
Leaving me, standing there, feeling dumb.
So my habit developed, when someone I’d greet,
Calling them ‘Buddy’, ‘Sweetie’, ‘Dawg’ or ‘Dude!’
And not asking any serious questions—
Just nodding and smiling, letting them take the lead
And just trying not to sound rude.
So if it happens I’m demented in a technical sense,
If my test scores me in the top tier,
I’ll still walk around proudly, my head held up high,
Trying to remember the reason I’m here.

I used opacity and i used the magic wand on the light bulb.
and I used the type tool to write the word and the definition.
i think the images i used represent the word cognition because of the when the word cognition comes to mind the word intelligence comes to mind and the first image that pops into my head is a light bulb. i chose the puzzle pieces because it takes concentration and awareness to do a puzzle.

Director, Center for Brain and Cognition, University of California-San Diego
V.S. Ramachandran is a neurologist best known for his work in the fields of behavioral neurology and psychophysics. He is currently the Director of the Center for Brain and Cognition at the University of California, San Diego. He is also the author of several books including Phantoms in the Brain: Probing the Mysteries of the Human Mind (1998) and The Tell-Tale Brain: A Neuroscientists Quest for What Makes Us Human (2010).

He has since been called “The Marco Polo of neuroscience” by Richard Dawkins and "the modern Paul Broca" by Eric Kandel. Newsweek Magazine named him a member of "The Century Club," one of the "hundred most prominent people to watch" in the 21st century.
