Our Kentucky skies have been nothing short of exceptional lately. For more, please watch my thirty minute video:
An early August morning provided both clouds and sky color to enhance the hoodoos of Bryce Canyon National Park.
Bryce Canyon is located in the state of Utah and is relatively close to Zion National Park. It was designated a national park during 1928. At 56 square miles, is smaller than many other parks, but is a gem with its countless colorful hoodoos. Its elevation is somewhat high ranging from 6,600 ft to 9,100 feet which causes it to have a cool climate. It was a refreshing mid-50s F the August morning we took this photo.

I been wanting to process this pic for the longest time but my processing skill was just not up to task before and I wasn't happy with my results back then. This spot from the Upper Antelope Canyon has been shot a few times by many photogs and it looks like one of the butte from Monument Valley. I decided to add in a Hawaii flavor and make it seems like a sunset scene in Hawaii with the island, mountains, crashing waves, moody cloud/sky, and a backlit Sun. What do you guys think, does it look like a sunset scene found in Hawaii??
