“What is Creative Mondays?
Monday’s are always a drag. The start of a new week, you have to go back to that routine of going to bed early/get up early. If (like me) you have to commute then you prepare for that long journey into work and that long journey back for the first time after a nice two day break.
So to kick off those lousy Mondays, I’m going to get my creative mind flowing in a positive way. Creative Mondays. A chance for me to show off something unfinished or finished that I’ve been working on throughout the previous week.”
The latest trailer for the upcoming Jurassic World hit the web today (we’ve been blessed with so many trailers recently) and I thought I’d put together a poster inspired by the film. Although I’m dubious about the film as I find it must be hard to tell the story of a park full of dinosaurs going horribly wrong in a new and original light, the nostalgic part of me wants to see a glorious return to the franchise.
The park opens June 12. Here’s hoping!

Guardians Of The Galaxy done GrimLight style. This was a shot taken at Newcastle's Comic Con convention back in March 2015. This guy had taken a lot of time to build the outfit i thought he looked pretty close. So got him to pose in with the end result putting a film poster design together for him and a good project for me too.
Shot with a Nikon D300 with a Nikon 50mm F/1.8 D AF lens + 1 Nikon D800 Speedlight with a Sto Fen diffuser triggered with Nikon's CLS. During post additional lighting added in background, shadows also drawn in.
Project time shot 5mins post production work just over 1 hr. I'm hoping to do more shots with a studio setup so can maximize quality and better lighting but for a on the spot quick shot pleased with the end results so is the guy in the shot.

The film was announced in October 2014 as Avengers: Infinity War – Part 1. The Russo brothers came on board to direct in April 2015 and by May, Markus and McFeely had signed on to write the script for the film, which drew inspiration from Jim Starlin's 1991 The Infinity Gauntlet comic and Jonathan Hickman's 2013 Infinity comic. In 2016, Marvel shortened the title to Avengers: Infinity War. Filming began in January 2017 at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Fayette County, Georgia, with a large cast consisting mostly of actors reprising their roles from previous MCU films. The production lasted until July 2017, shooting back-to-back with an untitled direct sequel. Additional filming took place in Scotland, England, the Downtown Atlanta area, and New York City. With an estimated budget in the range of $316–400 million, it is one of the most expensive films ever made.
Avengers: Infinity War held its world premiere on April 23, 2018 in Los Angeles and was released in the United States on April 27, 2018, in IMAX and 3D. The film received praise for the performances of the cast (particularly Brolin's) and the emotional weight of the story, as well as the visual effects and action sequences. It was the fourth film and the first superhero film to gross over $2 billion worldwide, breaking numerous records and becoming the highest-grossing film of 2018, as well as the fourth-highest-grossing film of all time and in the United States and Canada. The currently untitled sequel is set to be released on May 3, 2019.
