Record shot of an Orchesella cincta springtail in the Finglandrigg Wood Nature Reserve, 29 August 17.
One of two found on adjacent fenceposts in broadleaf woodland.
I think this was probably my biggest head-scratcher since finding the Thick-headed Fly in High Stand Plantation over a year ago! Not only could I not identify it, I didn't even know which Order of insect (or is it a non-insect hexapod?) it belonged to.
Many thanks to rockwolf for putting me out of my misery!
The NBN Atlas map currently only shows three Orchesella cincta records for Cumbria (which for some reason reduces to two at higher magnification!), none of which was submitted via Tullie House/CBDC. However, due to its small size and other factors, it's probably far more widespread than the records indicate.

Psallus haematodes plant bug found on a post in the Kingmoor Sidings Nature Reserve, Carlisle, 15 August 18.
This was too small to photograph in situ in poor light and so it was collected and photographed later in the day at 20x magnification with my SX10D microscope.
A new one for me, and thankfully it's apparently one of the few Psallus species that can be easily identified:
www.britishbugs.org.uk/heteroptera/Miridae/psallus_haemat...
As the CBDC no longer allows NBN access to county data, it's not clear what the status of this bug is in Cumbria. However, it's noted that Tullie House has 16 preserved Psallus haematodes specimens, most of which appear to have been collected from the north of the county - although only one of these is post 1941.

Springtail species from the Tomoceridae family found in Miltonrigg Wood, 2 September 17.
Although these two shots might appear to be of different specimens (compare the colours of the second antennal segments!) I'm as sure as I can be that they're of the same individual!
It was considerably larger than the Orchesella cinctas found in Finglandrigg Wood recently, and although I didn't take any measurements, it could well have been 6mm in length, implying Pogonognathellus longicornis - the longest of the UK springtails. Its antennae are longer than its body, which is also consistent with this species.
There are currently only two Cumbrian records for Pogonognathellus longicornis shown on NBN Atlas, neither of which was submitted via Tullie House/CBDC.

Dijital para projesinde Ground X’in Ethereum teknolojisine dayanarak geliştirdiği Klaytn adlı blockchain platformunu kullanılacak. CBDC’nin hayata geçirilip geçirilmeyeceği konusunda kesin bir karar alınmamışken, Güney Kore Merkez Bankası Başkanı böyle bir projenin üretilebilmesinin en az iki-üç seneyi bulabileceğini düşünüyor.
