The time has come and the weather is stormy again in the long weekend!
Hope all of you are doing well in the weekend!
This was from 2009.
There will be rain throughout the weekend. Rainy days = no picture days?
But there are still bokeh and water drops. These are my favorites.
This is the view from my wind shield at the intersection of No. 3 Road in Richmond.
Richmond city centre along No. 3 Road is a busy shopping area. I have taken some pictures of this area.

I learned that in order to find a different way of taking a photo of a certain place that it needs to be visited more than once. My most popular photo on Flickr so far is the original Streaks and Tower. I took this photo on the 3rd of this month, I had a lot of problems finding the correct exposure after the sun had set. But I managed to get just enough color in the sky to make it interesting and different than my previous attempt. The other fact being that this one is a portrait orientation and I took it with my 24-105mm Lens.

Lens: 24-105mm F/4L IS.
Shutter Speed: 25 seconds.
Aperture: F/22.
ISO: 100.
Ex: Taken mounted on a tripod and using cable release.

This afternoon I was trying to capture a nice sunset...unfortanuatly it wasn't that spectaculair. When I was heading home I noticed the fog in the river forelands at both sides of the road. Although the sunset was not spectaculair there still was some coloration in the sky. To bring out this color and detail in the sky I've used two ND-grad filters (Cokin), set the camera up on my tripod and triggered remotely. For the photo I've used a shutter speed of 10 seconds at f11.0 to create the light streaks.

Thanks to a series of elevated overpasses, La Défense is the perfect place to capture long exposure shots of this futuristic city. Have you been to La Défense?
9 minutes exposure.
The carlight is from one car crossing the only road in the valley. It arrived just at the moment i wanted to take the shot which makes it a bit luck for there are very few cars normally passing by.It's the only shot i took so got a bit lucky for the exposure.
From the series: One Day in Amsterdam
Been busy lately and will be even more, but managed to upload this shot... checking out the new flickr looks now... still can't get used to it cus I 'm searching around the page every time I wanna do someting and it started with how to add a comment. I'm feeling lost, but I also like it...

Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, Australia
Best viewed large
This shot was taken around midnight from a high-rise in Surfers Paradise on The Gold Coast. Our room was located on the 19th floor. Taking this shot was a tad scary as Dan and I had to pretty much lean over the edge to get enough interest in the shot. As you can see the clouds just started to come over on the left as we snapped this :)
Surfers Paradise is a large commercial centre set on the Gold Coast. Huge skyscrapers tower above the wonderful beaches, and make up part of the lively and modern town. There are plenty of wonderful shopping arcades around Surfers Paradise, as well as a fantastic nightlife and some fun attractions.
Surfers Paradise offers an attractive beachfront which is lined by a number of cafes and restaurants, and plenty of accommodation. The beach stretches all along the Gold Coast and beyond, with many of the beaches patrolled.
Please Enjoy :)
