My son actually pushed the button for this photo (my remote control - via phone) but I framed it and set the exposure etc. I also had to drive the car as he's not quite old enough yet (hence he was relegated to pushing the button).
This photo is why I'm here now on Flickr - it's inspired me to get back into the sort of photography that has always driven me.
Taken with the aid of a full moon.
A pedestrian waits to cross Main Street in Ballston Spa. My photo club encouraged us to "get out of our comfort zone" so I thought I'd try shooting car light trails
Margate seafront next to the harbour arm. The red building is the newly refurbished Old Kent Market.
10 second exposure.
Hope you enjoy.

Hurricane Point, Big Sur, California
Standing on Hurricane Point on a cloudy evening, looking north along California's Big Sur coast. Travelers are heading home, their car lights leaving luminescent trails in this long exposure.
In front of us is Bixby Cove and its eponymous bridge, further back is Rocky Point, Soberanes Point, Garrapata, then the scattered lights of the Carmel Highlands. The heights of the Monterey Peninsula loom vaguely on the far left.
Iron bridge in Wisconsin. After waiting and waiting for someone to go over the bridge, I decided to roll over it myself...
If you look close, you can see me waving (look really close)
Tripod mounted time exposure taken from the span on Kipling Avenue.
This image represents four seconds, on Highway 401 at 04:20am.
Another attempt at this photo. I took a picture here about 4 months ago and liked it but I'm thinking there is still a better photo to be had. Fall colours are a week or two away so I'm wondering what that may bring?
I went back to the same spot again the day after hoping for better conditions and I think I found them. I think this place still offers a more beautiful sunset so I'll be back again.
I drive past this pub every day on my way to and from work and thought i'd take a photo of it today. I got lucky with the bus and cars driving past in quick succession!
I should also add that its a really nice pub that serves great food ;)
