Cap Fréhel is a peninsula in Côtes-d'Armor, in northern Brittany, France which extends off the Côte d'Émeraude into the Bay of Saint-Malo. The cap is located 8.5 km from the town centre of Fréhel, although, administratively, it is located within the territory of the commune of Plévenon.
The peninsula is surrounded mainly by cliffs, which make it difficult to access it via sea. The whole of the undulating terrain is covered in moorland and marshes, which make it difficult to construct any structure on the site. No towns or villages are situated on the peninsula; however, two lighthouses, one from the 17th century and the other one from 1950, are located at the tip of it.

The black-capped chickadee is a small, nonmigratory, North American songbird that lives in deciduous and mixed forests. It is a passerine bird in the tit family Paridae. It is the state bird of Massachusetts in the United States, and the provincial bird of New Brunswick in Canada. The birds were out with the temperatures warming up and spring around the corner.
On a little holiday on one of the most beautiful spots on earth, Prince Edward Island on the Atlantic coast of Canada. An idyllic unspoiled place where beauty just comes naturally. This was taken in the Acadian area on the western island where the French language and Acadian culture reigns.
It is a very pleasant walk around Cap Ferrat. the settlement in the distance is Villefranche. To the east is Monaco
I rigged this Captain America outfit ages ago, and just today realized I never posted a picture with it other than this one gag.
So here it is! :-D

This is a repost, I'm day dreaming of Yosemite.
This black capped chickadee was chirping away in front of the yellow blossoms, making a hard capture as it rapidly moved from place to place. I lucked out that I'd set to manual earlier for some flight shots, so although the background is blown, I got the bird!

Bishop’s cap cactus usually reaches no more than 100 cm (39 inches) in height and up to 20 cm (8 inches) in diameter. It has four or five distinct ribs that increase to eight or more with age. The plant is globose when young, becoming cylindroid as it gains more ribs. The gray-green flesh is covered with white flecks. The fragrant yellow flowers have numerous petals and usually appear in early spring or summer during the day.
