I want Candy, I want Candy
Ohhh, I want Candy, Ohhh
Hey
I want Candy, Candy, I want Candy
XD mash mellow again
Had this idea in my mind for this evening. I placed the candy car on a reflecting paper and used my cellphone's app page to paint in the background, by moving it in front of the lens, behind the candy. By doing that I wanted to create some dynamics. I also used led light for the candy itself. Hope youlike it. HMM!
These are candy-coated licorice beans by Wiley Wallaby. Actually, I don't feel guilty about these at all. Individual beans are about 18 mm long, so width of image is 35 mm or so. HMM!
Here is a photo taken from my southwest trip last year at the Yant Flat scenic area near St. George Utah. This is 2 exposures blended, one for the sky and one for the foreground. Hope you all enjoy and thanks for any constructive comments.
The charge this week:
"Your artistic inspiration this week is candy. Since this is the advanced challenge... you can't actually use candy in the scene."

Doc and I always have a good supply of candy in our pantry - mostly individually wrapped chocolates - but every Halloween I can't resist grabbing a couple of bags of my childhood favorite, candy corn. The jar is deep - so help yourself - and enlarge the photo so you can get your hand in there.
Happy first of November!
Shhh... too sweet for talking...

Inspired by Northwest Dad and Hyuni's photos:
This store is an icon of Port Aransas, Texas, having been there for a very long time. I don't understand the attraction of eating candy bought from open bins where kids can drool into them, but apparently enough don't mind that they stay in business. Taken for 117 pictures in 2017, #11 "Childish Delights".
Candy: "I promise to eat only healthy food this year. No donuts or candy or junk food!"
(Noise from the background: nom nom nom...)
Candy: "What do I hear? ... And I smell donuts! Hey guys, leave some for me, too! A dozen or so..."
Candy's resolution did not last long - about 5 seconds.

Trying out my new Sigma EM-140 ring flash. Not quite as "natural" as just using sun light, but I can stop way down and get great depth of field.
It was a busy day of rail replacement buses passing through Staines-upon-Thames on Saturday 27/02/2021 with 20 departures an hour heading for Hounslow, Windsor & Eton, Weybridge and Ascot.
There were 17 operators out and about which between them managed to put on a show of 37 buses to keep me busy! And it was lovely and sunny too!!
Poor Candy she dreamt about being Chucky's bride (because fase the facts she really does look like Chucky's bride, seriously it's almost creepy if you think about it :P )
I made 4 other versions of this picture in Photoshop and when I finished them I decided I liked the original (this one) better so I actually wasted a lot of time hihi.
I wanted to give this picture a bit of scary atmosphere, I think it's hard to get the right result though, I want to learn everything about making scary atmosphere pictures in Photoshop, anyone ideas you want to share?
Thank you all for your comments and faves!

It's cold out there, people!!! Good thing that my project for this week is candy. That way I can sit in my warm house and play with wonderfully colorful candies, light and my macro lens.. And the bonus is, I get to eat them afterwords ;D Happy Sunday, guys!
