Originally I did this to try screen capturing the process of the montage and making an accelerated video out of it, but failed : the recording (with Camstudio) crashed after about 45 minutes, I guess because the file was becoming way too heavy.

So no behind-the-scenes today !

Does anyone have tips on how to do this easily ?

In this video, I will show you how to set up branding for your Office 365 for Business login page, set up a redirect from your domain to make it easier for your employees to remember, and how to create short URL's for easier access for your employees.

The three custom URL's to use for your login page are listed below. You can set up redirects to the links as shown below:

1. login.microsoftonline-int.com/?whr=YOURDOMAIN.COM

2. https:/outlook.com/YOURDOMAIN.COM

3. SUBDOMAIN.sharepoint.com/

1. login.microsoftonline-int.com/?whr=shizmedia.net

2. https:/outlook.com/shizmedia.net

3. shiz.sharepoint.com/

The first link will go to the user's home page unless you are an admin, it will go to the admin page. You can change the domain landing page after login in your profile settings. The second link will go straight to the user's Email in Outlook. The third link will go straight to your TEAM SITE. If you set up a redirect from YOUR domain to the above sites, it will make it easy for your employees without remembering the URL's above. For instance, using staff.shizmedia.net/ can redirect to the links above is easier than remembering the entire URL. Of course, some of your employees may use favorites/bookmarks for this.

It looks like it's going to be clouded over here in Vancouver BC during the lunar eclipse so I've made a simulation of it in case I can't attempt photographing the real thing.

The simulation of the December 20 / 21 2010 Total Lunar Eclipse was made by recording the eclipse as displayed in Stellarium planetarium software, using CamStudio as the video capture software. (cool free softwares, google them!)

It's in 1080p HD, play it fullscreen.

Just a try with camstudio for quick recording Flash. It's not real smooth, but it's ok for this simple kind of animation.

I have been playing with Cam Studio and Roxio Videowave. Cam studio is a great piece of software for screen capture to make video tutorials, and I am very happy with it. On the other hand I will certainly have to get some better video editing software as Roxio Videowave is doing some weird things, like making the actual video shorter than it is, although this makes making speed edit videos easy, it makes it very hard to get the timings right for the music, hence the sound cuts out suddenly at the end of this test Video.

Original File was just shy of 6 minutes long, but when converted to mpg this is the result.

Just wish I could work this fast all the time ;o)

This was in a training video at work I saw today. It made me giggle my butt off all morning.

#MobileArtistry is creative edits, beautiful images, unique perspectives, stellar shots, and happy accidents. IE, stuff you won't find on the pop page.

Through this ongoing project we hope to expose people to art and artists they may not normally get to see, learn about one another's process, and encourage each other to push the limits of creativity.

Tonight's submission is from @michael_pitt, let's hear about his process.

Apps:Filterstorm,Camstudio+,Lenslight. Snacks eatn:Lime&black pepper deli style crisps+2BeersPerfect ingredients!! Anyone agree???

I love to snack on goodies while playing with the editing side of photography most nights, and I have crumbs on my iPhone :)

This pic was taken with iPhone4, and colored in filterstorm with the "hue" & "tone mapping " tools for detail. ---wiping crumbs off the screen----- ---now cleaning the oil smudges---

Hehehe, using "Camstudio+" I layered the 3 birds and erased the other unwanted birds in "filterstorm" app and saved. Finally using the "lenslight" app to pitch some light into the sky by the tree line, for that orange glow effect along the tree tops. Hehehe!! One clean edit, one clean iPhone.haha!! =BED✌ "Good Night" all :) ps. Instagram=nosleep

Productie de Imagine Studio Videochat Galati

Drawn with a Trust graphic tablet on ArtRage software. Sketch captured via CamStudio. Audio added with help of Audacity, clip finalised via Virtual Dub and at last, optimized with Pocket Divx Encoder. All are freeware, perfect open source programs. : )

Sorry for not uploading, but i am without capture software at the moment and CamStudio has been flashing alarms left right and centre due to the fact it is Malware.

I shall provide links to the moments where my clips start.

Clip 1:

The Matrix - Chateau Fight

youtu.be/4puUo4OYViE?t=29s

Firstly, this would be very difficult due to the multiple characters the scene requires.

This could be negated by using placeholder prims, but i am unsure on the impact of this on the final mark. or it could be done using clones of the same character model.

Ultimately, this is a scene about clean and calculated movement, with every cut matched to keep the flow of movement identical.

Jackie Chan - Whoami

Clip 2:

youtu.be/AJ5oaBWYzPk?t=4m41s

Specifically at 4:41-49, where Jackie Chan is involved in a series of dodges against a person’s kicks. He spins around a low pole several times in order to avoid the blows. This is a useful clip to reference as it allows a single character to use a lot of small moves that still show off plenty of movement.

Problems may arise in objectifying the leg which the character is supposed to be dodging.

Clip 3:

youtu.be/AJ5oaBWYzPk?t=6m26s (same video)

at 6:26-34, A long shot where Chan uses more freerunning style movement to escape. The continuous shot makes it very good to see references. A lot of these movements are near identical, which can lead to loops being created.

Also useful is the fact it is a multi-level environment, although sometimes this can be more trouble than it is worth.
