We were told of a lake where we were pretty much guaranteed to see wild brown bears fishing. So we took a one hour hike to a cabin through the forest at the Copper river Delta. Sure enough, when we arrived at the cabin a grizzly was saltking the lake shore for salmon not 100m from us. We watched the bear for around 40 minutes before the fading light forced us to start our walk back. Just as we decided to leave she/he caught this fine male Sockeye salmon.
