The 22mm “Super Fat Lens” produces strikingly vibrant results.

This is my new "baby"...his name is Jarvis and when he smiles like this I can't help but smile too! It's amazing how when your having a bad day, month or year your best "friend" can light up your life....

Well we spent most of Friday hunting for a place to live. This wonderful pooch spent from 1pm to 7 pm driving around with me, going into offices and stores while I did what I needed to do in order to procure us a new place to live.

Might not sound all that impressive, but since he hasn't gotten his last Parvo shots yet - ol' Mama doesn't let him walk in high traffic public areas. Period.

Meaning he peed at home and at this one house where I was able to verify the last time a dog was in the yard. That's some impressive holding for a little pup!

He only fussed a little bit until I coo'ed at him and caressed his soft puppy nose. This pic was taken while finally driving home, with him snuggled into "Daddy's" shoulder and him snoring the whole way home.

I know I shouldn't take pictures and drive - so no lecturing! LOL! I just couldn't resist capturing that image so I just aimed it real quick.

The American Pit Bull Terrier (APBT) is a medium-sized, solidly built, shorthaired dog whose early ancestors came from England and Ireland. It is a member of the molosser breed group. The American Staffordshire Terrier and The American Pit Bull Terrier (APBT) by breed are from the same lineage; Staffordshires was the name given by AKC, and American Pit Bull Terriers by UKC. The real difference between the two breeds is 6 - 8" in height and 25 - 35 lb in weight; the American Staffordshire being the larger of the two.

The dog was bred first to bait bulls and bears. When bear-baiting and bull-baiting were deemed inhumane, rat-baiting and dog fighting became more popular. The APBT Breed was used in both sports, and its prevalence in being put in pits with rats, or other dogs led to "pit" being added to its name.

The American Pit Bull is medium-sized, and has a short coat and smooth well-defined muscle structure. Its eyes are round to almond shaped, and its ears are small to medium in length and can be natural or cropped. The tail is slightly thick and tapers to a point. The coat is glossy, smooth, short, and stiff to the touch. The accepted coat color can vary widely, but, both the AKC and UKC do not recognize merle coloring.

Twelve countries in Europe, as well as Australia, Canada, Ecuador, Malaysia, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Singapore, and Venezuela have enacted some form of breed-specific legislation on pit bull-type dogs, including American Pit Bull Terriers, ranging from outright bans to restrictions and conditions on ownership. The state of New South Wales in Australia places restrictions on the breed, including mandatory sterilization. A few counties, and cities in the United States as well as the Province of Ontario in Canada, have outright banned ownership of the American Pit Bull terrier, and the breed is banned in the UK. ~ Wikipedia®

Don’t let yourself be scared,

be confident.

Don’t hold your soul back,

just let it take flight.

Standing alone in an empty room

admiring art from pictures of me and you.

One glance back at the life you knew before,

One last tear that wasn’t meant to fall,

One last embrace to know you were real,

One last breath to make sure you were okay;

One glance back.

Sheltered in your arms,

a curtain of love binds me.

Hunger in your kiss,

to know that you need me.

But I’m standing alone in a crowded

room filled with people admiring pictures

of me and you.

One glance back at the life you knew before,

One last tear that wasn’t meant to fall,

One last embrace to know you were safe,

One last breath to make sure you

were awake;

One glance back.

You left me on my own

worried sick about you, holding onto all

that was left of you. The

memory of you walking away,

with my silent prayer

hoping you would be okay. . .

One glance back. . .

One last tear. . .

One last embrace. . .

One last breath. . .

One glance back at the life you had before,

One last tear that was meant to fall,

One last embrace to hold me through the

night,

One last breath just to see the

mornin’ light.

One last glance.

Tim fostered a 3 legged-boxer for a while until they could find it a good home. He was more agile than the 4-legged dogs! Quite a handful, but quite the personality too!

STOP PIT BULL OVERPOPULATION, there are way too many adoptable pit bulls in shelters.
