And thank all of you for your support of my "habit".
No flash or tripods were permitted on the tour. The tour guide did not want the group of 16 to separate and moved us along at a rapid pace. The challenge of walking from bright light to dark interior areas was challenging. There was little time to compose or even change camera settings.
I took 2 lenses 10-22 and 70-200 and would almost always turn a corner where the other lens would give me a more interesting shot! I was typically the last man so that the group had cleared the field and the guide kept a careful eye on my lagging behind.

Constructed in 1881 for $18,000 the school had 6 rooms and 16' tall ceilings. In 1930 the gym, at right, was added and in 1932 a cafeteria was completed . The school continued to be used until 1987 when it closed and was sold to the Village of Higginsport for $1.00. The village's renovation plans stalled once the cost of asbestos remediation was revealed. Now it's slowly decaying. Located in Brown County and the western most Appalachian county in Ohio.
