B-29 Super Fortress hanger in Wendover where the Enola Gay -- atomic bomb plane was kept during the training runs for dropping the first atomic bomb. Just one of several hangers housing mostly B-17 flying fortresses on the abandoned Army Air Corps base in Wendover, Utah.

To see more of this base check out my album here: www.flickr.com/photos/19779889@N00/albums/72157601973705978

An abandoned cot lies next to the isolation ward in Pripyat hospital. Everything is isolated and alone in the Zone of Alienation.....nothing is safe....

And the ending won't be pretty.

One of my afternoon snaps from our walk around the now open to the public hospital grounds.

Came upon this abandoned farm during a weekend hike in Connecticut. Loved how the window presented the early winter view.

Thank you all very much for visiting my photostream!

Just a side of an old building with a broken window

This old decaying station appears to be a 1950s era independent service station. It's certainly got that small town look and feel to it....sitting right on Main Street.

"- Oh, a fellow chucker, eh? "

A scene from the 1990 live action movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I watched this movie countless times as a kid, and it remains one of my all-time favourite movies. For what you would think was a kids-movie, it's actually pretty dark, but it also has a good dose of humor.

In this scene the Foot ninjas attack the turtles while in April's apartment. Rafael is on the roof and gets attacked alone first, then thrown unconscious trough the glass roof. Michelangelo then engages in a nunchaku show-off battle with what he calls a "fellow chucker" from the Foot, but is not impressed, before they all engage in an all-out brawl. It's a pretty messy scene, so obviously, so is this build...

This is the third scene that I wanted to build for a contest in my LUG where we were tasked to build a set of scenes from a movie or TV series, but I didn't actually have this one built in time, and I only finished it this weekend. Ooopsie! But here it is!

Just south of Cookeville, TN on Robert Matthews Highway (Old Highway 111) is the remnants of the Donald Rice Grocery. This would be in Sparta, TN or White County.
