66848 arrives and pulls up at Liskeard signal box and receives a briefing from the signalman before pulling forward and reversing onto the Looe branch with 5 loaded ballast wagons which formed the 6C43 Westbury to Westbury via Looe.
Freights on the branch are very much a rarity and normally take place under the cover of darkness as did this movement. Night time shots are exceptionally difficult on the branch and i must confess i failed to get a decent shot however i did manage this picture.
66850 was on the rear.
The crew of the EL Huntington local takes a pause at Griffith, Indiana. This job normally used a Alco RS. However, today this Alco Century brute stands in.
Gotta prepare for the rescue operation somehow. These creatures are deadly, but someone has to save them.

The 6297th Star Wing is an irregular unit comprised of pilots and machines that have been detached from other units due to catastrophic loss.
Built in 1948 in Le Havre, France, as ‘Pelican’, this fine looking vessel originally served as an Arctic trawler before being named ‘Kadett’ in 1968 and used as a coastal trading vessel until 1995. After many years of being rebuilt ‘Pelican of London’ is now based in Weymouth and used as a sail-training ship for young people.
before a dive there is always a BRIEFING where the dive master will explain the details of the dive such as underwater terrain, depth, time, sights to see, duration and some necessary reminders (people tend to become forgetful and needs to reminded about the do's and dont's when diving, (regulations)). the next image shows a beach entry and final checks (with buddy) before entering the water.
Joshua, Kellie, and Jackson have gathered in one of the pilot briefing rooms on the USS Midway aircraft carrier. Joshua is at the podium giving instructions.
