Never got to pick up Stormer XL back in the day. It now gives me great pleasure to unveil my modified version of the Big Daddy Bot, thus completing my standardized BREAKOUT Revamps.

Added the obligatory tires and shoulder add-ons. Filled in the gaps. Did away with the laser pin-pointer feature and now feel a lot happier with the creation.

Out on the bike, yesterday, this is the new, horse-friendly foot bridge over the railway lines at King's Mill Reservoir, Mansfield. Variously loved and hated, it's certainly different!

I can't remember why I have these or where I got them from, but I just unearthed them on my machine. Some interesting ideas here and there, no?

A rusty steel railway bridge near Stoke-on-Trent station, Staffordshire

A winter retreat to Cancun Mexico to escape another cold Canadian winter. My favourite captures from seven days in paradise.

You can run on for a long time

Run on for a long time

Run on for a long time

Sooner or later God'll cut you down

Sooner or later God'll cut you down

Go tell that long tongue liar

Go and tell that midnight rider

Tell the rambler, the gambler, the back biter

Tell 'em that God's gonna cut 'em down

Tell 'em that God's gonna cut 'em down

Well my goodness gracious let me tell you the news

My head's been wet with the midnight dew

I've been down on bended knee talkin' to the man from Galilee

He spoke to me in the voice so sweet

I thought I heard the shuffle of the angel's feet

He called my name and my heart stood still

When he said, John go do My will!

Go tell that long tongue liar

Go and tell that midnight rider

Tell the rambler, the gambler, the back biter

Tell 'em that God's gonna cut 'em down

Tell 'em that God's gonna cut 'em down

You can run on for a long time

Run on for a long time

Run on for a long time

Sooner or later God'll cut you down

Sooner or later God'll cut you down

Well you may throw your rock and hide your hand

Workin' in the dark against your fellow man

But as sure as God made black and white

What's down in the dark will be brought to the light

You can run on for a long time

Run on for a long time

Johnny Cash

First try-out of my new Canon SX50HS in combination with the Raynox M250 lens. Unbelievable. What a macro, what a possibilities in this light-weight (plastic) camera! It needs a lot of light, this is done on my balcony under a cloudy sky with lots of wind without tripod, so these are lucky shots... To decrease the DoF I need a smaller aperture, so I need more sunlight or maybe a flash. But I am very positive about these first tries and will definitely show a lot more

in the future!

Evo was my first breakout set and he was great, at the time. Now he's just this little guy with one swollen arm. To remedy that, I've completely rebuilt him.

I was inspired by BobtheDoctor27's standardized heroes and wanted to adapt one of my favourites. Credit to him for the blaster and arm gun designs.

I really wanted to retain the color blocking of the original - Grey boots and the asymmetric arms, which I believe I've managed to do. The 2016 Toa torso is my favourite thing to come from G2, It's super easy to adapt and the waist function is just ideal. I will (and have) be making more Hero Factory heroes using this base structure. Iv'e also began jamming tires into every available space, I guess I'm on my way to becoming a true MOCist!

A couple more from my Fly With A Spitfire Experience.
